MEMORANDUM NJGM 2015 - 008 DATE: 13 June 2015 TO: 40 th General Assembly of Student Councils participants SUBJECT: Travel Advisory VENUE: The 40 th GASC will be held at the CFOS AV Hall, Pidlaoan Hall, University of the Philippines Visayas, Miagao, Iloilo. BILLETING: Upon arrival, please proceed directly to the venue where you will be oriented regarding your billeting. For delegates who will be arriving on 20 June, billeting will follow upon the session’s adjournment on the first day of the General Assembly. Also, please take note of the following advisory to get to the University of the Philippines Visayas Miagao campus. If travelling via plane to Iloilo: 1. From the Iloilo International Airport in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, the fastest way to take you to the campus directly is by riding a cab. Taxis await just outside the airport’s Arrival Hall. The estimated metered fare ranges from Php 800 to Php 1000. 2. Airport shuttles are likewise available outside the Arrival Hall. From the airport, these will take you to SM City Iloilo where you can either ride a taxi (ranging from Php 60 to Php 100) or jeepney to the Molo Bus Terminal. There, you have the option to take a bus or shuttle that passes through the UP Visayas Miagao campus (those plying the Iloilo-Antique, Iloilo-Caticlan via San Jose and Iloilo-Manila routes). Fare ranges from Php 35 to Php 75. If travelling via ferry to Iloilo: 3. From the Ferry terminal in Iloilo City, you may also ride a cab or jeepney that will take you to the Molo Bus Terminal. Alternatively, you may choose to head to Mohon Jeepney Terminal to and take a 45-minute jeepney ride (those plying the Iloilo City-Miagao or (Iloilo City-San Joaquin) from there to Miagao.     VENUE: The 40th GASC will be held at the CFOS AV Hall, Pidlaoan Hall, University of the
