Rules and Regulations

General Rules and Regulations

1. Only original content or content from Mahindra digital channels can be used. Content from any othersource would be considered as violation of Intellectual Property Rights and will lead to disqualification

of the entry.

2. Multiple entries per participant per contest are allowed. A participant can submit entries for multiple

contests.

3. Registration for the event opens from 1stFebruary 2014 and will end on 11:59 PM, 24 thFebruary 2014.

4. Submissions will be accepted till 11:59 PM, 26thFebruary 2014.

5. Entries should be submitted only on this Dropbox link: http://www.dropitto.me/NjM_NMiMS_Mumbai .

The dropbox password shall be provided to the registered participants only.

6. Naming Convention for Submission - Name_College_ContestName_EntryNumber

For example, if there are 2 submissions for contest Route66 then the naming convention would be:

Submission 1: RahulAggarwal_NMIMS_Route66_01

Submission 2: RahulAggarwal _NMIMS_Route66_02

7. Current positioning of Mahindra Scorpio must not be tampered with.

Current positioning of Mahindra Scorpio- A rugged SUV to conquer all types of terrain (Mighty,

Muscular)

8. The entries submitted by the contestants must not defame any competitors or hurt the sentiments of any

political or religious entity.

For example: If you are using a scene from Sholay then you are not allowed to use the name of the

characters of the movie in the posters.

9. All the category entries will be judged amongst each other and prizes shall be given category

wise.

10.Each Category below will have a winner and a runners up who shall be entitled to cash prizes

upto Rs.25,000.

11.In case of any discrepancies the decision of the NjM committee shall be final and binding.

12.Please find below the specifications for each category and the contests within.

Rules of each Category

A. Category 1Multiple entries per participant per contest are allowed. A participant can submitentries for multiple contests.

I. The Escapade (Travelogue):

a. Submission should be in PDF format.

b. Aim should be to weave a story of a travel journey with the Scorpio.c. The maximum number of pages should be 2.

II. Say It All (Poster Making):

a. The image should be of at least 800x600 pixels and 72 PPI resolution

b. Submissions are required in *.jpg/*.jpeg/*.png/*.gif/*.bmp format

c. A participant can come up with either a single picture or a collage of Mahindra Scorpio

pictures stating a single unique theme with caption.

III. Go Graphic (Comic Strip):

a. The cartoon strips should be in the form of 34 panels

B. Category 2 - Multiple entries per participant per contest are allowed. A participant can submit

entries for multiple contests.

I. KaleidoScorp (Brochure Making)

a. The brochure should in the below form and have 6 sides as shown below:

b. The brochure should not contain information already present in current brochures

of Scorpio and product specifications should not be a part of brochure.

c. Submission should be in *.pdf/*.jpg/*.jpeg/*.png/*.gif/*.bmp/*.psd format.

e. The content could beinformative, fun facts, USP and brand elements and pictures of

Mahindra Scorpio.

C. Category 3Multiple entries per participant per contest are allowed. A participant can submitentries for multiple contests.

I. Route 66 (Innovative Traffic Symbols):

a. Participants are expected to edit existing traffic symbols to include Mahindra Scorpio

in those traffic signs to give a personalized touch.

b. Minimum number of traffic symbols submitted should be 9, in a 3*3 matrix form.

II. Scorpio Reloaded (Customizations):

a. Participants are expected to redesign the look of the Scorpio, while retaining its

essence.

b. Participants can customize the interiors and/or exteriors of Mahindra Scorpio by using

Graphic customizations like paints, decals, impressions etc.

c. Submission should be in *.jpg/*.jpeg/*.png/*.gif/*.bmp/*.psd format.

III. Scorpio-ism:

a. Participants are expected to craft a minimum of 10, creative content that could go viralon social media, such as, memes, jokes, hashtags etc., keeping Scorpio-ism in mind.

For examplethe current Alok Nath jokes and memes that have become viral.

b. All the files should be zipped and the zipped folder should be renamed as per the

naming convention mentioned above.
