Why we focus on women
Hi I'm Annelise Piers, co-founder Now! let's play. We aim to bring about change in organizations as we work with leaders and teams.
Being a working woman myself, I understand the challenges we face balancing work and life as we establish ourselves and grow in the corporate world. Over the past year and a half, I’ve used NLP and Metaphors of Movement in my very own life – with amazing results.
I work closely with my business partner Rahul George who has journeyed with me and the other women whose stories of change we share in the following slides.
Mira Harish* had come to a point where she felt terribly stretched. She was working long hours and hardly saw her family except on Sundays. She was dangerously close to quitting her high-powered job.
Knowing she had worked so hard to come so far, she signed up for the 3-month executive coaching program we ran at the firm where she worked.
During her one-on-one NLP sessions, she was able to list out and prioritize what she wanted personally and professionally. We taught her the tools to align her goals and values, enabling her to make the right choices in every moment.
"I am so much more relaxed now that I know what I want. I'm able to plan my day and week better and find that by slowing things down I actually
get a lot more done. I'm calmer inside, even though there are periods of tight deadlines and client pressure. I don't feel overwhelmed anymore."

Komal Mistri* dragged herself to work everyday, leaving behind a host of problems as she closed the door behind her and stepped out of her house – or so she thought. She was unable to focus at work, making mistakes that almost cost her the account she was working on.
HR called us in to work with her, knowing our methodology is non-invasive and does not require the individual to share any details of the situation she is in. We did 10 sessions of one-on-one counselling to help her sort things out on the personal front. Her productivity at work increased and she’s even handling new team members.
“I was embarrassed at first when HR suggested I take up these sessions, but I’m happy I did. I’ve been able to make certain changes
that have calmed my mind, which earlier was in such turmoil. It’s true that one cannot separate home and work and that it’s imperative to
strike a healthy balance."

Kiran Khan* felt she just couldn't get through to her new team. She felt they were resentful firstly because she was a woman (they were all men), and secondly that she had been made Supervisor over them. Getting them to do anything was causing her a lot of pressure.
She happened to attend one of our Women’s Leadership Workshops. There was a paradigm shift in her perception of the team and she walked away with excitement to use her new learning in the real world.
"I learnt that day that I can only change myself. Though it seemed like bad news then, I know now that by changing my responses and seeing things from different perspectives, I get the outcome I want. My team have become very supportive. There are still some areas we disagree
on, but I'm sure in time we'll be able to work things out."

Neuro Linguistic Programming is a series of techniques that empower you to take control over your life and change your old behaviour.
Metaphors of movement is an exploration of language and imagery one uses to describe one's situation, giving individuals new perspectives to take steps in the right direction.

“I have for over eight years worked with a wide variety of groups. I focus on client centric themes
that have largely emerged from the requirement of the individual clients.
I have coached individuals on personal choices, career advancement and relationship management. I facilitate many group therapy sessions that explore challenges at the workplace, in personal relationships and that are connected with individual goal setting.
I create an environment that is safe, confidential and fun to be in. I believe that for my client to feel
liberated from old beliefs and create new ones, the environment should be fun and challenging at the
same time.”

“I've been training and coaching people for over 10 years now, and realized very early on that I wanted
to create real change in those I worked with.
I’ve perfected the art of using a combination of NLP, sociometrics, game, and Metaphors of
movement to enable participants/coachees to tap into their inner resources and intuitive responses.
I walk away from every session knowing that I've stayed true to my mission: creating learning that is
personal, quicker and permanent."
