Contents and General Information

1. The Vard Frequency Analysis (WFA) reports were reproduced exactly asgenerated via computer printout. The prime users of this document werefully cognizant of its contents and required no special instructions forinterpretation. However, for the sake of other readers, the followingbrief description of oontent'.is provided.

2. The WA reports for most M0S are divided as follows:

o Skill Level Io Skill Level II

However, due to the way some Soldier's Manuals are constructed, the WFA forsome NOS have both Skill Levels merged into one report. Each Skill LevelIs subdivided into two sections.

a. Alphabetic Rank: this section lists all terms in alphabeticalorder (left to right). To the left of each term is the frequency whichthat term appears in the text submitted for word frequency count.

b. Frequenoy Rank: this sotion lists the same terms contained in thefirst section of the report but reranked in accordance with their frequencyof appearance from highest to lowest. Also, the terms are rankedalphabetically within the same frequency level.

3. It should be noted that the basis of this WPA is the Soldier's Manual.Consequently, this vocabulary set is only a sampling of the entire NOvocabulary and is subject to change.
