With reference to the above subject I am pleased to inform you thatGovernment of Karnataka is sanctioning an one time incentive to students fromKarnataka belonging to OBC and general category (excluding SC, ST and Minorities)who get admission in IIM, UT and Indian institute of Science. The Scheme is introducedin the financial year 2017-18. A Government order (ref) has also been issued in thisregard. Hence I request you to kindly inform the OBC and general category students(excluding SC, ST and Minorities students) of your institute to avail this benefit.

All necessary information regarding this scheme is provided in website:www.backwardclasses.kar.nic.in A separate helpline is also been provided for the benefitof students (helpline nJmber - 080 65970004).
