No.55 Outline Anticorrosion polyethylene tape NO.55 Developed for prevention of corrosion and protection of various types of pipelines. It consists of a polyethylene film and high chemical resistance and a self-fusing type adhesive layer. Using polyethylene with excellent electrical property and chemical resistance as base material together with thick-coated synthetic butyl rubber-base adhesive, it brings out superior durability and anticorrosion property. Being highly flexible, it is easy to wind and suitable for work in temperature and for work on joint or flexural area. Structure
Fig-1 Structure;№55 Application ●For anticorrosion/protection of various types of pipelines. (Not only straight sections, but also flanges, elbows, T-joints etc.) ●For anticorrosion/protection of power cable and communication cab. Features ●As adhesive layer is butyl rubber type material, it flows after being wrapped and forms anticorrosion
layer as one. ●It fits snugly against any shape, no matter how complex. ●Offer superior durability and corrosion resistance. ●Electrical insulation and chemical resistance is excellent. ●Has superior watertight properties because it is a self-fusing tape with a self-adhesive layer.
