Insulated Conditioned Crawl Space with Concrete Base
Unique in the building industry, a concrete based, insulated conditioned crawl space allows
plumbing and ductwork to be protected from the cold resulting in lower energy costs for the
homeowner. Also, all foundations include a perimeter drain with sump-pump.

30 Year Architectural Shingles over Felt Paper
Enhancements to 30 year architectural dimensional shingles have resulted in a new generation
of high-quality asphalt roofing products with distinctive, often dramatic appearances.
Architectural roofing shingles are among the highest quality roofing products on the market.

R-21 Batt Insulation
Wall insulation saves energy, controls moisture and helps to reduce noise.

3
R-38 Blown-In Ceiling Insulation
Along with an advanced air-seal process, blown-in insulation fits more tightly than other
insulation preventing air leaks, and efficiently keeps your home at the right temperature
which can save you money on your heating and air conditioning bills.

Low-E Single Hung Vinyl Windows by Pella®
Low-E coatings on windows reduce energy loss by as much as 30-50% compared to other
windows, keeping excess heat and cold from permeating into your home. This will allow you
to enjoy your living space and lower your energy bills too!
5
Pre-Engineered Roof Trusses and Floor Joists System
Pre-engineered Roof trusses are strategically designed for strength and durability, eliminating
the need for guesswork on the construction site. A Floor I-Joist system gives stability and
strength to the home. Paired with an AdvanTech® subfloor that is glued and screwed, it
insures for a quiet, level, and stable floor for your new home for years to come.

9 Foot Ceilings
Purchasing a homes with 9’ ceilings on the first floor is a modern amenity that brings value to
your home investment. Higher walls and ceiling provide a more spacious and roomy feel
allowing for special finishes, crown moldings, fans and other aesthetics of your choice.
7
40 Gallon Hot Water Heater
This easily allows for enough hot water to cover the needs of your whole home.
8
CFL Lighting & Fixtures
CFL’s (Compact Fluorescent Lamps) use significantly less energy – 75% less energy then
incandescent light bulbs. While using less electricity, CFL’s produce an equivalent amount of
light and also have a life span averaging 10 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs.
9
Programmable Thermostat
Advanced programmable thermostats give you precise control over your heating and cooling,
helping to reduce wasted energy. Year-round use of programmable thermostats can help re-
duce cooling and heating costs by several hundred dollars annually without compromising
comfort. Today’s thermostats are also easier to use than in years past.

OSB Sheathing with Weather Resistant House Wrap
OSB Sheathing boards are finished without knots, voids, and gaps often found in other types
of wood composite panels and produce a stronger and stiffer panel than other products.
Weather resistant house wrap protects your framing and sheathing better during construction.

2x6 Wall Construction
When a home is built using 2×6 studs, that means the depth of the wall will be approximately
5 ½ inches. That added depth of the wall allows for additional insulation. This provides a
better barrier from the elements (both hot and cold) and therefore increased energy
savings. Additionally, thicker walls and thicker insulation means a quieter home.
12
Full Wood Extension Jambs with Casings & Sills
Another benefit to thicker walls is the beautiful detail it allows for full wood extension jambs
and deep window sills. This detail throughout the home provides a polished finish.
