HELLO!Hello, my name is Noel Tanner. I’m a graphic designer and digital illustrator. I hold both a A.A. and B.F.A. in graphic design. My work has been featured on the web and in gallery shows throughout the midwest. My goal with any project I tackle is quite simple, I endeavor to bring about smart, creative, powerful pieces that best service the clients objectives. I wish to work with those who share my level of determination and passion for quality design. Quality graphic design is not chasing the current style. It’s creating unique work that fits that client and that client alone. The following pages are only a sample of some of the work I have done recently. If you have any feedback I would be very happy to hear from your.Cheers, Noel Tanner414-758-6397 [email protected]

01_GRAPHIC DESIGNGraphic design has always been my first passion. The merging of text and art to create engaging storytelling, in an easy to read format, is an awesome powerhouse of communication. Every step in the process is exciting for me; from kerning to paper choice I feel like I’m making something that really grows its own legs over time and become something alive. The tools for graphic design are beyond just the Adobe Suite. Its a working knowledge of the history of graphic design, a passion for typography, and an ability to let the core ideas of a project drive the design.

CLIENT: Messmer High School

PROJECT: Left: Poster for the Messmer High School Fine Arts Night 2010. The client required a poster to show their arts night would encompass a number of fine arts and music. Past designs were formal and the client wanted a piece that was both typographically driven and vibrant.

Bottom:In addition to the posters invitations were given out to the student body. These served as both as a reminder for parents and donors to come and visit the event.

CLIENT: Clysarl

PROJECT: One of my first clients through C2 had me create a 21 page booklet on how to improve shrink packaging sustainability. I learned many lessons with this project. The most important of these lessons was to always do your best for the client. Just because you don’t appreciate a product does not mean you don’t give every job your best attention.

TOOLS: Illustrator, InDesign.
