Psychological and physical consequences of noise pollution
are diverse. Frequent and persistent noise give the sensitive

the EU are important steps to reduce noise emission. Noise
barriers to provide active noise protection are always an

Our highly absorbing noise barriers made of aluminium
are used where traffic noise has become a nagging
nuisance. The space-saving structures may be painted
in different colour designs or covered with plants to
make them fit best in the surrounding area.
Transparent noise protection elements are required
wherever it is desirable to preserve scenic vistas and
where other noise protection structures would seriously
restrict lines of sight.
In our own Bongard & Lind factory and at competitive
prices we design and manufacture both lightweight
aluminium frame systems in conjunction with
transparent materials and highly absorbent noise
protection panels made of seawater-resistant, powder-
coated aluminium. They consist of static supporting
extrusions, rolled aluminium side walls and vertically
stabilizing end caps.

While still being the most environmentally friendly
means of transport, the railway is also a source of
noise in everyday life. The rolling of the wheels on the
tracks, the driving noise of engines and fans are often
perceived as stressful by residents.
Highly absorbent track side walls are often the only way
to noticeably reduce noise emission. These walls almost
completely avoid sound reflection and in contrast to
other systems, they do not require much space.
Noise barriers by Bongard & Lind are made of
aluminium and meet the special requirements of
high-speed railway lines which besides sophisticated
acoustic properties also have to meet specific civil
engineering requirements.

Service doors, rescue doors, large doors
Development, manufacture and assembly of doors
and gates for “road” and “railway” applications
Doors and gates serve to secure access to traffic
areas on roads and rails and are intended to prevent
unintentional access to traffic areas.
Our door systems are available in variants as:
· Service doors in single leaf design
· Rescue doors with enlarged opening widths as a
two- leaf system
· Large gates as a two-leaf system without
independent frames or frame sections
In particular, the following designs are available in the
product portfolio:
· Noise protection door per RIZ LS21 (road)
· Noise protection service door with railway certification
· Noise protection rescue door with railway certification
· Large gate noise protection with railway certification.
We manufacture exactly according to customer wishes,
versions can be produced as sliding- or swinging
doors. Of course, electrical variants can also be
supplied for road areas.
The infill for doors can be implemented as reflective or
absorbent, depending on your individual wish.
For large road gates, we can offer classic aluminium
elements or transparent elements, or a combination
of these.

for design speeds of up to 300 km/h
In addition, we complete special doors / gates per
customer wish. Individual solutions such as sliding
doors can also be developed and produced.

Scene painting can also allow the elements to blend
in with nature and connects the walls harmoniously and
playfully with their surroundings.
By colouring, the walls either can be embedded in a natural environment or create a special design corresponding to
the location or region. This simple and cost-effective way of design offers endless possibilities. Both RAL and special
colours in NCS are possible.
The combination of aluminum elements and
transparent modules breaks up monotonous
installations.
Wall systems in sloped design are frequently applied
as a design element, because they also become more
efficient in providing sound insulation.
Our trellis systems are particularly suitable for
greenery which should be adapted to the landscape.

The RIZ Elt 2 regulation requires road bridges or
pedestrian bridges to be retrofitted with touch guards
to ensure protection against electric shock from the
active parts of the overhead lines. Alternatively, shock
protection walls may be fitted with railings or continuous
handrails.
The systems meet the requirements of
DIN EN 50122-1: 2011-09 to protect electrical railway
systems such as long distance railway lines, guided
public transport systems such as tramways, elevated
and underground railway lines or cable cars. The glass
infills are made of transparent acrylic glass according
to ZTV-Lsw 06.
Exposed areas are reinforced with internal stabilisation
filaments to prevent debris from damaging critical
systems. These visible polyamide filaments are also
helpful to protect birds.

A major advantage of our professional NoiseGard is that
no foundation is required, so you do not have to worry
about underground cables, drainage channels, etc. The
system may be designed for different heights and any
length to provide complete fencing of industrial facilities
and events. Matching gate systems, entrances and
emergency exits will be adapted as required.
Individual requirements of acoustic or visual properties
may be implemented upon request. Depending on the
model, we offer the possibility to either rent or buy the
systems.
Individual shielding of industrial outdoor areas,
generally aimed at optimising environmental and
occupational health and safety, has useful side
effects, in addition to noise protection. For
example wind forces acting on a drilling
rig may be attenuated or the outside
world may be effectively sealed off, if
confidentiality so requires.

The NoiseGard light product line developed by
