PPC Alphabetical Index ForLink-Belt Cranes

This section of the PPC Alphabetical Index is to be usedfor Link-Belt cranes and consists of General Areas 01through 22. For Sumitomo/SCM/HSC cranes refer toGeneral Areas 41---59, DA---DZ, and ZA---ZT.

Note: CraneswithLink-Belt lowers andSCM/HSCup-persmay have parts page codes from all crane areas(General Areas 01--22, 41--59, DA--DZ, and ZA--ZT).

Parts Ordering Instructions1. Always give crane model and serial number.2. Always order parts from authorized distributors. By

doing so, one is assuredof prompt service andguar-anteed quality.

3. Give full instructions for shipment. State whether airexpress, truck, parcel post, freight, etc., stock oremergency order, and to whom and where the partsare to be shipped.

Keysheet And General Information

The Keysheet is the heart of the Parts Manual. It is pur-posely designed to simplify the process of locating as-semblies and their respective part numbers.

General Information

At the top of the Keysheet is the General Informationarea. (Refer to the example of a typical Keysheet onPage 9.) General Information will usually include the fol-lowing:1. Crane Model2. Crane Serial Number3. Sales Order Number4. Transmission Model5. Transmission Serial Number6. Transmission Operator’s Book Number7. AEM Safety Book Number8. AEM Safety Video Number9. Miscellaneous10. Technical Bulletins11. Addendums12. Crane Operation And Maintenance Book Number13. Engine Parts Book Number14. Engine Operation Book Number15. Engine Serial Number16. Engine Model17. Selling Distributor18. Order Number --- For internal use only.

This area may also include information specific to a cer-tain model and/or application.

How To Use The Keysheet

The Keysheet is a list identifying all major componentsdivided into General Area, Specific Area, and SpecificIllustration.

Eachmajor installation or assembly is brokendown to itsdetail serviceable parts on the parts page. Each of theseconsists of illustrations and/or text.A. Locate on the Keysheet by general area, the parts

page which will show the parts needed.B. Note the parts page code opposite the parts list title

identified in Step A.C. Go to the parts page code identified in Step B. Each

parts page is identified in the upper right hand cor-ner.

D. Find the part needed on the illustration.E. Using the reference number of the part on the il-

lustration, refer to the same reference number on theparts list to identify the part number.

PPC Alphabetical Index ForSumitomo (SCM)/HSC Cranes

This section of the PPC Alphabetical Index is to be usedfor SCM/HSC cranes and consists of General Areas 41through 59, AreasDA throughDZ, andAreas ZA throughZT. For Link-Belt cranes refer to General Areas 01---22.

Note: CraneswithLink-Belt lowers andSCM/HSCup-persmay have parts page codes from all crane areas(General Areas 01--22, 41--59, DA--DZ, and ZA--ZT).

Parts Ordering Instructions1. Always give crane model and serial number.2. Always order parts from authorized distributors. By

doing so one is assured of prompt service and guar-anteed quality.

3. Give full instructions for shipment. State whether airexpress, truck, parcel post, freight, etc., stock oremergency order, and to whom and where the partsare to be shipped.

4. Do not specify quantity by sets. Indicate specificallyhow many are desired.

5. If a part on an illustration does not coincide with apart on your crane, describe fully.

6. Prices on parts listed in the Parts Manualmay be ob-tained from any Link-Belt distributor.

Keysheet And General Information

The Keysheet is the heart of the Parts Manual. It is pur-posely designed to simplify the process of locating as-semblies and their respective part numbers.

General Information

At the top of the Keysheet is theGeneral Information area(Refer to the examples of a typical Keysheets on Pages 9and 16). General Information will usually include the fol-lowing:1. Model2. Crane Serial Number3. Sales Order Number4. AEM Safety Book Number5. AEM Safety Video Number6. Miscellaneous7. Technical Bulletins8. Addendums9. Crane Operation And Maintenance Book Number10. Engine Operation Book Number11. Engine Serial Number12. Engine Model13. SCM/HSC Upper Serial Number14. Selling Distributor15.
