We compare linear and non-linear narrative media. You look at an example of a text based adventure, Zork. We watch a brief excerpt from the Get Lamp documentary, and look at ways in which this genre has developed over time, including the Inform7 system.You explore ways in which your chosen text might be explored through a non-linear approach, using a web-based tool, gliffy, to ‘map’ this.In practical work, you’ll create a simple non-linear set of screens in Scratch.TRANSCRIPT
