This interactive workshop aims to provide core knowledge for Health Professionals

either within the primary or secondary care setting. It aims to explore the issues and

challenges relating to the practical application of person centred palliative care

towards the end of life with a non-cancer diagnosis.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:-

Describe the role of palliative care in non-malignant diseases

Recognise and manage non-malignant disease symptoms

Facilitate conversations around advance care planning.
