Mission of the Month MISSION OF THE MONTH - THE HARLESS-KINDER FUND This month we ask you to prayerfully consider supporting the Harless-Kinder Fund. This fund was established in 2011 from the generous gifts given in memory of David Harless who supported many mission op-portunities. The purpose of the fund is to support members of CUMC as they go out on mis-sion trips to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Please give generously knowing that you are not only making it possible for someone to go on a mission trip, but also serving along side them every step of the way!

New Spirit Sunday School Class The New Spirit Sunday School class is presently studying the Letters to the Corinthians by William Barclay. We have finished 1 Corinthians and are now into the 2 Corinthians section. This study book details Paul’s experiences and emotional strength during the planting and growth of the church in Corinth which provides a good example for present day Christians. Our class is rich with long time Christians who would welcome anyone seeking a deeper learning of the scriptures and a desire to become part of a special group of Central Church. (“Spot-Light” your Sunday School class by sending information to the church office.)

Central Has It’s First Trex Bench!
So many of you have been bringing in your used plastic since the first of March. We’ve logged 683.6 pounds of soft plastic with the Trex Company and have received our first bench. Stop by the preschool playground and take a look! Thanks to Bob Richardson and Vince Clark for assembling the bench. We urge you to continue to help our environment as we begin working toward another bench.
More people are needed to process the plastic. If you are willing to help, please contact Marcy Harless.
