Occupational Wellness

May can be a very stressful month for many students. The

semester is ending and it’s a constant struggle between

studying for exams and thinking about your future path in life.

Many of us feel overwhelmed with all the choices in life and

may not be sure which path we should take, while others may

not even know what choices are out there. Our career

decisions encompass so much of our lives, it’s important to

have the ability to love what we do. When we love what we

do, we have a greater sense of well-being in life.

SIU has many great resources for students and future alum-

ni to utilize for career preparation and career development. The

resources that can help you find your career path include

counseling, assessment, resume building, networking skills

and so much more!
