When harvesting milled peat for Nord Agri, we mill a few centimeters of the peat fields, which have been drained beforehand. The dry and loose peat is gathered into

small piles, which are then collected by the vacuum harvesters. Afterward, the milled peat is transported to larger stockpiles. Milled peat has a larger amount of fine

granulation, and it is easier and cheaper to harvest.

Milled Peat

Block peat at Nord Agri is harvested using peat cutting machines. The extracted blocks are later air-dried to decrease the moisture content to around 40-60%. After

slicing the blocks using our dedicated block peat mill, we are able to get various fractions of peat. By using this extraction method, the botanic structure of the peat is

not affected, thus, increasing the quality of the final product. Block peat from Nord Agri is considered to be the most valuable and qualitative type of peat moss.

Nord Agri Humic + is useful for soaking seedsbefore planting. In process of soaking seeds absorb Nord Agri

Humic + solution. Experiments show that soaking seeds in the Nord Agri Humic + solition increases germination and

also shortens period of germination for several days.

SOAKING SEEDS

You can water with Nord Agri Humic + solution newly planted seeds as well as seedlings and adult plants. We recomend two waterings during the growing season. If

�rst time you water the soil after planting the seeds then the second time the same soil should be watered in two

weeks Amount of solution in this case should be equal to water amount of ordinary watering.
