It’s my Life

My name is Thomas Smith and I’m from the UK. I was born in Leeds, which is in the north-west of England but I live in London. I’m thirty-four years old and I work as a lawyer. I have a wife and two children. I have a daughter called Sophie, who is nine years old and a son called Edward, who is seven years old.

I get up at 7am every day and then take my two children to school at 8am. After that, I go to my office and look through my case notes for that day. I also go to meetings and talk to clients. I have lunch at around 1pm. I usually have lunch alone because I like to read the newspaper while I’m eating. After lunch, I go to court and represent my clients. I usually finish work at around 6pm and get home at 7pm.

In my free time, I really enjoy doing things with my wife and kids. My wife really likes art so we sometimes go to art galleries at the weekend. I usually try and do sports with my children. Sophie loves swimming so I go to the pool with her. Edward plays football for his school team and I go and watch him play quite often.
