OCEAN INSTALLER‘s business model rests in essence on a tailor made
approach and close cooperation with clients. We know that speed, timely deliveries and efficient solutions are critically important, thus the ability to deliver and fulfill our client’s goals is our main priority. NORMAND CLIPPER is a large DP2 class vessel with VS 4125 design and
was originally built by Ulstein Verft, Norway. She is a versatile vessel set up to do a large variety of offshore construction work including flexible & umbilical lay, structure installation and general subsea construction. She has performed work in the North Sea, Mexicu Gulf and Brazil for customers like Shell, BP, Exxon and Saipem/Petrobras. Normand Clipper is on a long term charter from the Norwegian ship-owner Solstad, which also own the 2 other vessels in Ocean Installer’s fleet. The integrated working relationship between Solstad and Ocean Installer ensures the highest level of support to the end client.
Normand Clipper shares the same setup as Ocean Installer’s other vessels in the fleet and is operated with fully integrated partners Oceaneering and Nautronix for ROV and survey services. This setup ensures good cross departmental communication onboard and ensures high operational efficiency.
