DAY 1 – Depart the USA: Depart the USA on your overnightflight to Paris, France.

DAY 2 – Paris: Welcome to France! Upon arrival, you will be metat the airport by a representative of Mayflower Cruises and Toursand transferred to the vessel. The remainder of the day is at leisureto begin discovering Paris. Enjoy a welcome dinner before cruisingout of Paris with the beautiful city as a backdrop. Meal: D

DAY 3 – Les Andelys: Enjoy the opulent amenities of yourfloating hotel as you glide peacefully through the Île-de-Franceregion to Les Andelys. Freechoice: Hike to King Richard theLionheart’s Château Gaillard, or journey to Lyons la Forêt, one ofthe most beautiful villages of France, and visit Fleury-la-ForêtCastle. Sample cider, the region’s specialty, after touring thisexquisite example of 17th-century architecture. Alternatively, joinyour local guide for a walking tour of the quaint village of LesAndelys, or take a bicycle tour through this beautiful village, set onthe banks of the Seine. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 4 – Rouen: Enjoy a walking tour of Rouen, the capital of theNormandy region. Take in the famous sites relating to Joan of Arcand the historic Rouen Cathedral. Walk the winding medieval lanesand admire the city’s half-timbered houses. This region is also thegateway to the historic Western Front, and you’re able to gainfascinating insights into the Somme battlefields with an onboardpresentation from a local expert. This evening, a local pátisserie willcome onboard with a selection of their finest desserts for yourdining pleasure. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 5 – Rouen: Freechoice: Get a glimpse of what the Sommebattlefields might have been like for those caught up in this terribleWorld War I battle, which claimed the lives of more than 150,000British and Commonwealth soldiers. DAY 8 – Honfleur to Caudebec-en-Caux: Freechoice: VisitFécamp and its mighty palace.
