Uniform Shop News

In order to adhere to social distancing measures in the shop, we will continue to operate by appointment only

until further notice. Appointments are available for those wishing to try uniforms for size, or to access the second-

hand clothing pool.

Appointments can be booked using the following link: https://signup.com/go/cmDYUyW

Ordering by Email

If you already know the size and items you require, please send us an email with your completed order form and

proof of payment. Please ensure you are using the current order form by downloading it from

http://www.npspandc.com/uniform-shop/

Orders will be packed on Friday and distributed to your child’s classroom for them to bring home. Unfortunately

collection from the school office is not available at present.

Please email your order form and payment by 9am this Friday for packing before the school break. Orders placed

after 9am this Friday will be packed next term (on Friday 24 July).

Revised Pricing – valid from 4 July 2020

We have recently had to review our price list to accommodate increases in cost prices from our suppliers. We

have tried to keep costs down as much as possible and the new prices only apply to a few items.

The new prices will be in place from 4 July onwards. Any orders placed before the end of Term 2 will be processed

at the old prices.

We thank you for your understanding.

Canteen News

We look forward to counter sales resuming in Term 3 and we will be accepting cash at recess and lunch again. The money is cleaned by dropping the cash into a container of sanitizer and the change given back will also have been sanitized. Please remember for frozen treats ordered in the lunch order: the children need to bring their stamped bag to the canteen to collect it (once the teacher has released them for lunch). Please keep the bag to redeem the item, and treat it like cash.

Canteen Volunteer Vacancies

Volunteers will be welcomed back in the Canteen in Term 3, with distancing limits in place. We will need you and I am sure Lisa will be grateful for the extra hands. The volunteer roster can be viewed online in School24 now. Please note: if you (or your child) is unwell, please let us know and do not come to help in the Canteen that day. We are able manage around it. We must ensure the health and safety of our school and the children come first. Enjoy the holiday break and see you in Term 3!

Athletics Carnival

Wednesday 22 July is our Athletics Carnival at Mark Taylor Oval in Waitara. We hope the students are all looking

forward to a great day.

The students will travel to and from the venue by bus. They will leave school at 9.00 a.m. and return by 2.50 p.m.

Students are to wear their full sports uniform, come with a packed lunch and bring a water bottle as the canteen

will not be operating on the day. Please ensure everything is clearly labelled.

The students will be participating in track and novelty events. All other field events will take place at school during

Term 3.

In adhering to Department requirements during the COVID-19 Pandemic, parents will be unable to attend. This

means only students and teachers will be in attendance at the oval.

Looking forward to another fabulous carnival.

Term 3

As many of you may be aware childcare has been free during Term 2. This ceases on 12 July. We appreciate those families who have been marking their children as ‘away’ on our webserver, however if you continue to do this in Term 3, you will be charged the full cost of the session. Marking as ‘away’ will also go towards your 42 allowable absences, which may affect your CCS. If you do not wish for your child to return to NOOSH and do not wish to pay, you can press cancel on the webserver, which will cancel your bookings for the rest of the year. If you choose to do this please note we cannot guarantee you an afternoon booking later in the year due to our waiting list. If you are in any financial difficulty, such as being made redundant, please contact us and we can institute measures such as a payment plan. How NOOSH notifies you

NOOSH informs families of important notifications in a range of ways: email, Facebook, Instagram, the news

section of our website, “NOOSH news” and the school newsletter as well as the notices on our touchscreen.

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for up to date information!

Notifications of importance will be sent via email to the parent claiming CCS. If you are not receiving any emails

from either Normanhurst OSHC or Becklyn please let us know and we will ensure that your email address is

correct on your enrolment form.

If your partner receives the emails and you do not, please email us and we can add your email to our list. Another

great thing to do is to make sure the Becklyn emails are not in your junk mail!
