Paint Your Own Castle You will need 1) One piece of 12x18in construction paper OR 2 pieces of 9x12in construction paper taped together. 2) Water color paints, water, and brushes OR markers or crayons if paint is unavailable. 3) Two sheets of blank paper for panting or coloring. 4) A print out of the castle shapes (see pages 2 and 3). 5) Scissors. 6) Glue. 7) Optional coloring page characters. Check out Crayola’s website for free Disney and Star Wars coloring pages: https://www.crayola.com/free-coloring-pages/disney/ OR use a page from coloring book you already have, like a super hero! Instructions 1) Create a design covering the whole page of both blank pieces of paper with paint, crayons, or markers, and let dry. 2) While the pages are drying, cut out the castle shapes from the printouts. 3) Place the cut out shapes onto your dried design, trace the shape, and cut out the shape from your design. Hint: Try to get as many shapes out of each page of your design as you can. You can reuse shapes and use as may or few shapes as you want for your castle. 4) Glue your cut out designs onto your construction paper in the shape you want your castle to be. 5) Optional: Color your princess, superhero, or other character and cut them out, then glue your character(s) into your castle scene and display for all to see.
