Pigmented inks are transferred via piezo inkjet technology. The carrier is solvent based and evaporates after printing. For optimal print performance with textiles a top coat is required.

UV printing prints directly on to the substrate which does not require a coating. UV printers can be roll to roll or flatbed depending on make and model of the printer. The special ink is transferred via inkjet technology and then cured by UV light. The ink dose not penetrate the fibers but lays on top.

Inks are printed on a special transfer paper and then transferred to the fabric using a heat press. The inks are heated to 400° f for 30 seconds, which helps the inks to permeate the fabric and permanently dyes it.
DyeDye--Sub TransferSub Transfer
Dye sub inks are printed directly to the fabric, which is then “heated” to sublimate the image. Top coat of some kind is required for optimal output. Some popular equipment sold to the “Print Direct to Fabric” marketplace are: D.Gen’s Teleios, DuPont’s “Artistri”, Roland/Splash of Color, Seiko, Textpress, Mimaki, Ganndi and others

Benefits of Dye Sublimation printing: Benefits of Dye Sublimation printing:
Screen printing, also known as serigraphy, is a method of creating an image on paper, fabric or some other object by pressing ink through a screen with areas blocked off by a stencil. The technique is used both for making fine art prints and for commercial applications, such as printing a company's logo on coffee mugs or t-shirts.
Screen PrintingScreen Printing
The offset lithographic process works by first transferring an image photographically to thin metal, paper, or plastic printing plates. Rollers apply oil-based ink and water to the plates. Since oil and water don't mix, the oil-based ink won't adhere to the non-image areas. Only the inked image portion is then transferred to a rubber blanket (cylinder) that then transfers the image onto the paper as it passes between it and another cylinder beneath the paper.

Partner with Aurora and together we can help keep the recycle chain going at the same time adding value for our customers. It’s called “FabRecycle™” our program through which we’re taking back printed and scrap polyester fabrics from our customers. The fabric is accumulated, baled and ultimately recycled into products like carpet padding and insulation.
