Building Up Your Career Portfolio

Those who work in the care and education of children birth to age 8 have a special challenge. We are a mighty army of caring and capable adults who have a heart for children and families. Many of you have been working on your portfolio by taking the Early Learning Guidelines, business classes. and Safe With You. These are used daily in our work. We are now looking at what’s next? You might look for something that takes you deeper into a topic. We are working on the idea of a 2-part Social Emotional training using the Pyramid model with SU2Q/Head Start sites that have coaching for follow ups as challenging behaviors are still the #1 concern. Taking Making and Tinkering is a good choice as a 2.0 after the ELG Science/Math classes. Please provide some input via the survey we have out there NOW!
