Commencement Notice

I, John Laurence Hardy, Administrator of the Northern Territory of Australia, under section 2 of the Care and Protection of Children Amendment Act 2015 (No.3of2015), fix 1 July 2015 as the day on which that Act commences.

Fisheries Regulations

Fees and Levies 20152016

I, Willem Rudolf Westra van Holthe, Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries:

(a)under regulation 206(1)(a) of the Fisheries Regulations, prescribe the fee payable for the grant or renewal of:

(i)a licence specified in Schedule1, Part A for the licensing year commencing on 1July2015 to be the amount specified opposite the licence; and

(ii)a licence specified in Schedule 1, Part B for the licensing year commencing on 1January2016 to be the amount specified opposite the licence; and

(b)under regulation 206(1)(aa) to (d) of the Regulations, prescribe the fee payable on and from 1July2015 for a matter mentioned in Schedule 2 to be the amount specified opposite the matter; and

(c)under regulation 207(1) of the Regulations, prescribe a levy of $895 to be paid by an applicant for the grant or renewal of a licence listed in Schedule3 to the Regulations for the licensing year commencing on 1July2015 or 1 January 2016.

Pearl Oyster Licence Levy 2016

I, Willem Rudolf Westra van Holthe, Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries, under regulation208C(1) of the Fisheries Regulations, prescribe a levy of $65 for each pearl culture unit allocated to a Pearl Oyster Fishery licensee or Pearl Oyster Culture Industry licensee, to be paid by the licensee on application for renewal of the licence for the licensing year commencing on 1January2016.

Fisheries Regulations

Timor Reef Fishery Licence Levies andDemersal Fishery Licence Levies

I, Ian Arthur Curnow, Executive Director Fisheries, as the delegate of the NorthernTerritory Fisheries Joint Authority:

(a)under regulations 208A(1) and 208B(1) of the Fisheries Regulations and with reference to section 43 of the Interpretation Act, revoke the notice titled "Timor Reef Fishery Licence Levies And Demersal Fishery Licence Levies" dated 8 May 2014 and published in Gazette No. G20 on 21May2014; and

(b)under regulation 208A(1) of the Fisheries Regulations, prescribe the following levies to be paid by the holder of a Timor Reef Fishery licence on application for renewal of the licence:

(i)$0.117 for each fishery unit for goldband snapper attached to the licence;

(ii)$0.016 for each fishery unit for red snapper attached to the licence;

(iii)$0.042 for each fishery unit for grouped fish attached to the licence; and

(c)under regulation 208B(1) of the Regulations, prescribe the following levies to be paid by the holder of a Demersal Fishery licence on application for renewal of the licence:

(i)$0.101 for each fishery unit for goldband snapper attached to the licence;

(ii)$0.053 for each fishery unit for red snapper attached to the licence;

(iii)$0.037 for each fishery unit for grouped fish attached to the licence.
