Release of Information under Section 61(8)

I, Vicki Lorraine Jackson, the Delegate of the Minister for Primary Industries and Resources, in pursuance of section 61(8) of the Petroleum Act -

(a) notify that I propose to make the information specified in the Schedule available or publicly known;

(b) invite interested persons to give to me, within 45 days after the publication of this notice, a notice objecting to the whole or any part of the information being made available or publicly known; and

(c) notify that if a person does not make an objection in accordance with this invitation, the person will be taken to have consented to the information being made available or publicly known.

of the Minister for Primary Industry and Resources, under section 113(2) of the

Mineral Titles Act:

(a) reserve the land in the Bynoe locality that is shown unshaded within the thick

black line on the plan in the Schedule from the following activities:

(i) exploration for minerals generally;

(ii) extraction of minerals generally;

(iii) exploration for extractive minerals;

(iv) extraction of extractive minerals; and

(b) give notice that:

(i) the reservation takes effect on the day this notice is published in the

Gazette; and

(ii) the land specified in paragraph (a) is being reserved to enable the Power

and Water Corporation to protect the catchment around the Darwin River

Dam and Manton Dam; and

(iii) a person is not entitled to apply for the grant of any mineral title in relation to

the land.

General Reservation of Land on Cessation of Title (RL 31445)


of the Minister for Primary Industry and Resources, under section 114 of the

Mineral Titles Act:

(a) state that:

(i) the land in the title area of the part of EMP 29836 that is shown hatched

within the thick black line on the plan in Schedule 1 will become general

reserved land on the day EMP 29836 ceases to be in force; and

(ii) the land in the title area of the part of EL 27005 that is shown hatched within

the thick black line on the plan in Schedule 1 will become general reserved

land on the day EL 27005 ceases to be in force; and

(iii) the land in the title area of the part of EL 27560 that is shown hatched within



(iv) the land in the title area of the part of EL 27968 that is shown hatched within



(v) the land in the title area of the part of EL 28703 that is shown hatched within



(vi) the land in the title area of the part of MLN 314 that is shown hatched within


land on the day MLN 314 ceases to be in force; and

(vii) the land in the title area of the part of MLN 344 that is shown hatched within

reserved land on the day MLN 1095 ceases to be in force; and

(x) the land in the title area of the part of MLN 1096 that is shown hatched



(xi) the land in the title area of the part of MLN 1104 that is shown hatched



(xii) the land in the title area of the part of ELR 125 that is shown hatched within


land on the day ELR 125 ceases to be in force; and

(xiii) the land in the title area of the part of ELR 146 that is shown hatched within


land on the day ELR 146 ceases to be in force; and

(b) give notice that:

(i) the land specified in paragraph (a) is reserved from the following activities:

(A) exploration for minerals generally;

(B) extraction of minerals generally;

(C) exploration for extractive minerals;

(D) extraction of extractive minerals; and

(ii) the land is being reserved to enable the Power and Water Corporation to

protect the catchment area around the Darwin River Dam and Manton Dam;

and

(iii) a person is not entitled to apply for the grant of any mineral title in relation to

the land.




Note

Each mineral title mentioned in paragraph (a) ceases to be in force on the date specified opposite the title in Schedule 2 unless sooner cancelled, surrendered or renewed.

Revocation of Reservation from Occupation No. 26654


of the Minister for Primary Industry and Resources, under section 113(4) of the

Mineral Titles Act and with reference to regulation 92(2) of the Mineral Titles

Regulations:

(a) with effect on the date this instrument is published in the Gazette, revoke the

Reservation from Occupation No. 26654, made by instrument dated

1 September 2008 and published in Gazette No. S46 dated 2 September 2008, in

relation to the land that is shown bounded by the thick black line on the plan in the

Schedule; and

(b) state that the reason for the revocation of the Reservation from Occupation is to

allow the re-reservation of the land as part of an increased catchment area

around the Darwin River Dam and Manton Dam on advice from the Power and

Water Corporation.
