Northern Territory Aboriginal Sacred Sites Act 1989

Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority Appointment of Member

I, Vicki Susan O'Halloran, Administrator of the Northern Territory of Australia,

acting with the advice of the Executive Council, under section 6(1) of the

Northern Territory Aboriginal Sacred Sites Act 1989 and with reference to

section 6(4) and (6) of the Act, appoint Valerie Napaljarri Martin to be a member

of the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority for 3 years on and from the date on

which this instrument is published in the Gazette.

Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority Act 2012

Appointment of Members I, Vicki Susan O'Halloran, Administrator of the Northern Territory of Australia,

acting with the advice of the Executive Council, under section 10(1)(a) of the

Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority Act 2012:

(a) appoint Janice van Reyk to be a member of the Northern Territory

Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) from 10 April 2020 to

31 December 2022; and

(b) appoint Colin Joseph Woodward to be a member of the NT EPA from

12 April 2020 to 31 December 2022.

Plant Health Act 2008

Declaration of Pest

I, Anne Christine Walters, Chief Inspector of Plant Health:

(a) under section 6(2)(a) of the Plant Health Act 2008, declare Argentine ant

(Linepithema humile (Mayr)), pyriform scale (Protopulvinaria pyriformis),

and red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta (Buren)) (the declared pest) to be a declared pest; and

(b) under section 6(4) of the Act, specify that the declared pest is a notifiable

pest.

Public and Environmental Health Act 2011

Termination of Appointment and Appointment of Acting Chief Health Officer

I, Natasha Kate Fyles, Minister for Health:

(a) under section 67(1) of the Public and Environmental Health Act 2011 and

with reference to section 43 of the Interpretation Act 1978, terminate all

appointments of persons to act in the office of Chief Health Officer in force

immediately before the date of this instrument; and

(b) under section 67(1) of the Public and Environmental Health Act 2011 and

with reference to section 44A of the Interpretation Act 1978, appoint each

person named in the Schedule to act in the office of Chief Health Officer:

(i) during the period specified opposite the person; and

(ii) when no other person has been appointed to act in the office of

Chief Health Officer during the particular period.
