Who We Are

Free and Confidential NWMEF is a nonprofit organization offering business coaching in northwest Missouri.

Economic & Community Focused The purpose of NWMEF is to promote economic and community revitalization by capturing the passion and interest of local entrepreneurs.

Support-system The NWMEF Enterprise Facilitator meets one-on-one with current and prospective entrepreneurs to help them discuss and understand the needs to operate a successful business and help connect them to the needed resources.

Grassroots Organization NWMEF started in 2006 using an innovative grass roots approach to economic development developed by economist, Dr. Ernesto Sirolli. We are funded by many of the counties and cities we support, as well as businesses, public and private individuals and organizations.

Resource for Northwest Missouri This program is targeted to help any person who aspires to create or expand a business in one of the six counties we serve: Andrew, Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway or Worth.

One-on-one Assistance Our Enterprise Facilitator gives intensive, one-on-one assistance to the entrepreneur.

Educate Entrepreneurs The Facilitator educates the entrepreneur on the Trinity of Management®

Resource Board A Resource Board of more than 70 volunteers are available to brainstorm ideas on how to help the entrepreneur if needed.

Business Celebrations NWMEF celebrates a new business for the region by helping to host a “Business Celebration.”

What We Do How We Help

More than 600 clients have been assisted since 2006.

NWMEF has been instrumental in the establishment of at least 50 new businesses in northwest Missouri.

$18 million = Estimated new sales

generated in northwest Missouri.

Over 300 new jobs and counting have

been created in the six county region.
