The Northwest Urological Society cordially invites you to join us at the 2010 Annual NWUSConference. This year's conference will be held December 3-4,2010 at the Fairmont HotelVancouver in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The primary focus of the conference is to educate northwest urologists in technologies andresearch that will enhance their knowledge and improve their skills in the management of patientswith urological problems. This years' detailed agenda will be posted on our web sitewww.nwurologicalsociety.org at the end of September 2010 after receipt and review of thesubmitted scientific abstracts for inclusion on the agenda.
The Northwest Urological Society is offering several Industry Partner Promotional Packagesin addition to our standard exhibit opportunity this year. These packages are the best way toguarantee a prime exhibit location and provide maximum benefits and exposure for yourcompany. Included in the prospectus is a summary of the NWUS Industry Partnership Programalong with a list of the benefits it provides. Christopher G. Wood, M. D., FACSAssociate Professor and Deputy ChairmanDepartment of Urology, Division of SurgeryThe University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer CenterHouston, Texas
Christopher G. Wood, MD, FACS is an Associate Professor of Urology and Cancer Biology at theUniversity of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. He is a graduate of the Purdue University,West Lafayette, Indiana, and Graduated with Distinction and received his M.D. Degree fromNorthwestern University Medical School, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Wood completed surgery andurology training at the Northwestern Memorial HospitallMcGaw Medical Center, Chicago, Illinoisfor Urology Residency and his Fellowship at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson CancerCenter, Houston, Texas in Urologic Oncology. He is a board certified Diplomat of The AmericanBoard of Urology (2000).
His areas of interest include the role of surgery in metastatic and locally advanced renal cellcarcinoma, nephron sparing surgery for renal cell carcinoma, orthotopic bladder substitution aftercystectomy, neoadjuvant multimodal therapy for GU malignancies, post-chemotherapy surgicalconsolidation for testis cancer, surgical management of prostate cancer, molecular biology of renalcell carcinoma tumorigenesis, progression, and metastasis.
TARGET AUDIENCEThis conference is intended for urological surgeons, urology residents, students and associatedmedical staff to include physician assistants, nurses and medical assistants. Participants will befrom academic and community urology practices throughout the Northwest (Washington, Oregon,Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Alberta and British Columbia). We are expecting 200 attendees for the2010 CME Conference.

The Northwest Urological Society Annual Conference is a scientificconference following guidelines set forth by the Royal College andAccreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).The meeting will provide attendees with advanced knowledge in theurologic field, combined with new product knowledge learned in theexhibit hall. The Northwest Urological Society consists of urologistspracticing in the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta along withWashington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Montana states located inthe United Sates.

Cancellations & Refunds:The Northwest Urological Society requires that all cancellationsmust be in writing.The following refund schedule applies:
1) Cancellation on or prior to October 15,2010 exhibit fee will be refunded less$250 administration fee.
2) Cancellation after October 15, 2010,no portion of the original exhibit feewill be refunded.
Assignment of Space:Exhibit space will be assigned at the sole discretion of theNorthwest Urological Society. Factors affecting exhibit locationinclude support level; the date the registration form was receivedby the NWUS office, date payment received, the number ofexhibits, and proximity of competitors.
