30 PERCEN T R ECYCL ED R AW M AT ER I A L SWe are continuously working to increase the recycled content. It is already 30 % for some of our U-Tulip profiles, in some cases even more and the trend is rising. The recycled percentage is tested and certified by PolyCert Europe.

I NVESTM EN T I N SUSTA I N A B I L I T YWe use special technologies to process recycled granules so that they can be used in the highly sensitive production process in the first place.

The call for more paper-based protective profiles is growing louder. But loud is not always right. The fact is, if you look at the carbon footprint of cardboard and paper holistically over the entire life cycle, the more natural raw material does not necessarily come out better than plastic.

N O L A N D O CCU PA N CYWhile plastic is a synthetic product, paper or cardboard has a natural origin. This goes hand in hand with an enormous demand for forestry land.

N O CO M P OS I T E M AT ER I A L I S SU ESIn order for protective profiles made of cardboard to have the same properties as those made of foam, additional coatings are often necessary. This in turn makes recycling more difficult.
