COMMENTS: Very large, spreading multi-trunk pignut. Measured about 3.5’ above base. Only 6 points below current County Champion; could be listed as Co-Champion. Good health, no visible issues.

They noticed others securing the tree later, and finally they saw that the County had secured it with stakes and ties. Now the tree is sound and strong.
