Bucholz started his appointment as associate pastor of Clarkston United Methodist Church (Mich.) in July. He and wife, Lauren Dennis-Bucholz ’12 both graduated with master’s of divinity degrees from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. His sermon is from James 3:13-4:3, 7-8a entitled “Bulldog Wisdom.” Featuring the AC Choir directed by Dr. Thomas Hodgman, professor of music, and hosted by AC Chaplain, the Rev. Dr. Christopher Momany ‘84. After the service, get acquainted with the Bucholzes and AC students. CHOIR ALUMNI are invited to join the AC Choir this year. As a non-traditional student at Adrian College, Kristina earned her BFA in Studio Art and then her MFA from Kendall College of Art and Design. VisGirda is a Lithuanian-born American ceramist and teacher. He earned both a BA in physics and an MA in art from California State University, Sacramento; and an MFA from Washington State University. Theide is a professor in the School of Art & Design for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, well-known for her work in metals. She earned a BFA from Drake University (Iowa), an MFA from Indiana University Bloomington, and is a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths. (Exhibit through Sept. 20.) IS YOUR PET A SUPERHERO? - PHOTO CONTEST Dress your pet in its finest super hero costume to enter the amateur photo contest by emailing a good quality digital photo (.jpeg only; minimum 300 dpi) by September 5 to alumniconnect@adrian.edu. Include your name, email/contact info, pet’s name/breed, etc. Need not be present to win; first, second and third prizes will be awarded. Students and alumni on campus during Homecoming will vote for their favorites! Winners will be contacted and an announcement will be made on campus and on Facebook.

BULLDOG REUNION TENT Bring your lunch from the vendors on site, visit with friends, or just take a break during your day.
