Watch for immunization packages for students in kindergarten to grade 4 who are be-hind on their immunizations. Students will be offered immunizations at a public health office with the consent of a parent, guardian or representative. Parent(s), guardians or representatives will be required to accompany students to the public health immuniza-tion appointment.

Students who are up to date on their immunizations will receive a record of immuniza-tion. Please keep this record to provide to your child’s school this fall.

First Nations children who receive health services in their communities may be able to access immunization records and services at their Community Health Centers.

Please contact the Saanich Health Unit at 250-519-5100 and ask to speak with a Public Health Nurse if you have any questions.

Canadian CARMA (www.canadiancarma.ca) (operated by Mr. John Butler) is a business/free online publication which features and promotes Canadian talent, and generates reve-nue each week which is donated to a Canadian charity or public school as part of their weekly "Raise Funds for Canadian Charities and Public Schools" program. On April 4, 2019 Doncaster Elementary was selected as the recipient of the revenue generated by the publication in the amount of $23.45. The publication is free, membership is free, and it is the members who generate revenue each week by simply viewing the ads that they host. At the end of each week a member is randomly selected, contacted, and they de-cide who the donation goes to. Adam Marsh was the randomly selected member and who opted to give the money to Doncaster Elementary.

Thanks for the donation Canadian Carma!

Thank you for the Donation!

THANKS!

Peter

and Seamus

for updating

our outdoor

school sign

board!

Hey, everyone!

To finish out our year in Makerspace, I am planning some fun

video projects, and I need your help to do it! I’m looking for

volunteers with access to a sewing machine to help me sew

buttonholes along the top edge of my video backdrops, so

they can be hung around the library. Are you able to help

with this? Please contact:

[email protected] to lend a hand!

Thanks so much!

Lisa Taylor, Gr. 4/5 and Makerspace teacher
