In mutual funds, they have fund managers, so we have this so called investment management fee, (or distribution cost, management fee) do I get a statement of those fees to track them. Composition of those fees? How do I pay them? Limit: I should not pay more than 1.5% of my equity fund. Expense ratio: a measure of what it costs an investment company to run a mutual fund. Operating expenses/Average Peso Value of Assets = Expense Ratio Operating expenses, taken out from the funds asset, so it lowers the return to a fund’s investor. Higher the Expense Ratio = Lower Return for the Investor OPERATING EXPENSES (deducted in the fund Assets) : Investment Manager Salary, Recordkeeping, Custodial services, taxes, legal expenses, & accounting & auditing fees.
