He said access to safe drink- ing water, sanitation, education, healthcare and information has seen vast improvement over the years and these welfare steps by the Jammu and Kashmir Gov- ernment in reducing poverty and relative deprivation have been appreciated at various forums across the country. Chief Secretary during the meeting reviewed the status of winter stocking in Kashmir valley besides he also enquired about the readiness of the dis- trict administrations in snow clearance and measures being taken to ensure regular sched- uled supply of electricity to the people in the winter zone. While reviewing the status of Results Frame Work Docu- ment (RFD) for which the Gov- ernment of Jammu and Kashmir was recently presented apprecia- tion award by the Union Govern- ment for effective leadership in its early implementation in the State, the Chief Secretary was informed that department-wise information has been uploaded on departmental websites. The Chief Secretary said that any deficiency in RFD implementa- tion should be noted and imme- diately addressed. Chief Secretary also reviewed the status of SMS based mechanism put in place for effective monitor- ing of important projects in R&B, PHE and PDD. He was informed by the IT depart- ment that the software appli- cation is ready and the SMS mechanism will be finalized soon. SMS based monitoring mechanism has already been put in place to monitor proj- ects under BADP. The Chief Secretary also asked the Education Department to expedite the process of filling vacant posts of Principals and other staff in schools and col- leges and sorting out issues in this regard. The Chief Secretary also asked the departments to submit replies on the action taken reports of the House Committees to the Assembly Secretariat at the earliest. The “President KUTA along with other mem- bers visited the bereaved family to express solidarity with them and prayed for peace to the departed soul,” the spokesman said. The Judges who were experienced in profession monitored all the models minutely and 1 st Ten Models were selected for the awards. The awardees were given cash prize of Rs. 1000/- One Thousand each besides, the certificates of achievement. All the participants schools were awarded the certificates of participations. The exhibition was opened by the Principal, DIET, Beerwah and HOD RMSA MR. SHABIR AHMAD KHAN played an active role to make the program a success. He also visited the field to ensure their participation. The lunch was served to all the participant teachers/ students and the TA/ DA was paid to all in accordance with guidelines.
