With reference to the subject and letter mentioned above, I am directed to inform you that

the Government of Meghalaya in compliance to the specific direction passed by the Hon'ble Supreme

Court in the order dt. 24.10.2018 and 30.04 .2014 in contempt Petition (C) Nos . 425-426/2015 in W.P (C)

No. 523/2002 has decided to provide cashless medical treatment to retired Chief Justice and Judges in

any of the hospital within the State and outside the State as opted by the Retired Judges.

In connection with cash less facilities and for reimbursement of medical treatment the

Hospital authority where the Judges undergo medical treatment will sent the bills and all connected

papers to the Registrar General of Meghalaya High Court for payment. The Registrar General High C· 1 uri:
