Nourish
Your
Soul
“When you recover or discover something that
nourishes your souland brings joy,
care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.”
Jean Shinoda Bolen
Let us pray that our Minds be open to understand what you may be telling us and that we think more like God. That our Eyes see things as you see them. That our Ears hear your message in what is being spoken this morning. That our Mouth will speak words that Heal and give life! That our Hearts are open to love like you. That our Hands be open to receive any gifts you plan to give us.Let us place in our hands any worries or anxiety. Take all that needs healing in our lives and bring us back
into the Light of Love and Peace.
What Nourishes
your
Soul?
Called to LoveSelf
Being a person of Integrity
Standing up for what you believe is right.
Loving yourself means eating and
exercising regularly,
finding time for meditation
and/or prayer regularly,
and taking other actions that nurture and
improve your physical,
emotional,
and spiritual health.

Physical Health, Exercise
You can have good self-esteem
regardless of your physical body.
Let’s face it, if negative thoughts
about our bodies actually caused us
to lose weight, we’d all be skinny!
There are worse things than being fat— like being
mean, petty, or spiteful. Besides, your weight is not
just affected by food and exercise but also genetic,
biological, and digestive behaviors you have little
to no control over.
You focus on what you can control: being physically
active, choosing appropriate amounts of good
food, drinking plenty of water, and getting a good
night’s sleep.

Connecting and Impacting Others
Sending a card to someone can
make an impact on someone
especially today.
“ If you could only sense how
important you are to the lives of those
you meet; how important you can be
to the people you may never even
dream of. There is something of
yourself that you leave at every
meeting with another person.” Mr. Rogers
Spirit of“Serving Others
How do you Serve Others?
True greatness is achieved in the humble serving of others.
What kind of impact will you have and how big will it be because you served others?

Forgiveness
In order to nourish our soul we have to be at peace with our self and other.
Who do you need to forgive? Someone you are not at peace with?
Who or what has harden your heart?
Resent Somebody
The moment you start to resent a person you become
their slave.
They control your dreams, absorb your digestion, rob you of your of peace of mind and good will, and take away the pleasure of your work.
They ruin your spirituality and nullify your prayers.
You cannot take a vacation without them going along!
They destroy your freedom of mind and hound you wherever you go.
There is no way to escape the person you resent.
They are with your when you are awake.
They invade your privacy when you sleep.
They are close beside you when you eat,
When you drive your car, and when you are on the job.
You can never have efficiency or happiness.
They influence even the tone of your voice.
They require you to take medicine for indigestion,
Headaches and loss of energy.
They even steal your last moment of consciousness
before you go to sleep.
So if you want to be a slave,
harbor your resentments. Author Unknown
We can’t say we love unless we can forgive and we
can’t forgive unless we have a lot of love in our
hearts.
In the Scripture :“If you cannot forgive your
brother and sister from your heart then I can’t
forgive you.”
Xinan’s Story on Forgiveness
Forgiveness is the hardest thing we will
ever have to do.
Psychologist – California – said…
“If People start forgiving, you will put me out of a job. 90% of my cases are people who can’t forgive.”
If we don’t forgive, it does more damage to us than anyone. It is like pouring acid into us.
Jewish Man of Tears
“O Holy One, you know I am not good at praying, but I bring you all I have.
This pitcher holds my tears. Late at night, even when I am tired, I sit and try to
pray to you. And then I think of my poor wife and children and the fact that they
have no clean clothes to wear to services and are ashamed to come to the
synagogue and I cry.
“And then I think of all the hungry ones, the beggars in the streets, in the cold and rain,
miserable and so alone, and I cry some more.
“And then, God, I think of what we do to each other. I think of all the gossip and hate, the
prejudices, bullying, jealousies, quarrels and wars. I think of you crying, God, and of You
looking down on us hurting one another so, and I know that you weep for us always.
“God, I cry for you and how we must break your heart and sadden you so.
“Please, take my tears, accept my prayers, and take all of us back into your heart
once again. Give us a blessing and forgive us in Your great mercy and kindness.”
Love is the strongest desire of our heart.
We are made out of love to love!!
To live a life loving and forgiving will
bring you more Joy than anything else!
" What a better world this could be is we would Fear less and Hope more; Whine less and Smile more;
Talk less and Listen more;Hate less and Love more."
