NEWSLETTERNovember 2011
Commanders MessageWe had a busy month so far with the yard sale and the District
Conference. I would like to say thank you to the Ladys Aux.
for cooking and serving the dinner it was very good. We made
$400.00 from the yard sale and the money from that sale is for the
Insurance Fund. I had ordered a 20 yard dumpster and came very
close to lling it with the junk from the back room, you can see the
oor now and a little cleaning out the front room as well. I did the
cleaning by my self, oh dont get me wrong there were people who
had plan on doing it but they didnt have the time.
Some of you may have noticed the new at screen T.V. in our
lounge and it was donated by Doug and Janet Worthington and if
you know who they are and when you see them say Thank You. Also
I like to say Thank You to Chris and Jeff Arbogast for making the
sandwichs and soup. They have made great meals for our post every
day and be sure if you can afford it to make a donation in the box by
the soup when you get your self a sandwich or soup or both.
For God and Country,
Carl Jensen/Post 34 Commander

ofcer positions. Vickie Bowles was
elected Sgt-at-Arms and Charlene
Warner was elected Historian at the
October Meeting.
National will increase Membership
Dues by $4 for 2013. We need to
determine if we want to increasewhat each individual member pays or
decrease the amount we keep for our
Unit Funds. Currently we pay $20 of
the $30 collected from each member to
Dept./National. This should be voted
on in the November Meeting since we
need to send the notice to increase dues
to in by January.
Thanks to Rosealee Irwin the Ladies
restroom has been painted and looks
great. She got the paint donated and
convinced Donna Trethewey and
Shirley Thacker to help her with the
painting.
At the November meeting we need
to decide if we want to have a Chinese
Gift Exchange and Goodie Night for
the December Meeting.
The 2012 Membership cards were
sent out from National with the number
of continuous years of membership
incorrect. The cards are showing the
same number of years as last years
card. The cards will not be replaced
due to the cost of replacement.
For other membership card questions
call Emma Peoples @ 627-0634.
Discussion of the proposed changes
to the Constitution and Bylaws will
continue at the November meeting.
If you know of an Auxiliary member
who is sick or has lost a family
member please contact our chaplain
Mary Douglas @ 628-3188.
