China – Liaoning province over 90 percent resumed production
• By Monday, over 90 percent of the companies in the province having resumed production. In addition to cuttingelectricity charges for companies from February to June this year, the provincial government has provided othersupportive measures covering aspects like logistics, shuttle bus services for workers, and construction of newprojects for companies in need, to ensure timely resumption of production.

Jordan – tightens lockdown to combat coronavirus
• Jordan would stop all incoming and outgoing passenger flights into the country from Tuesday as it tightensborder controls to combat the spread of coronavirus;
• Prime Minister Omar Razzaz said universities and schools would be closed for two weeks and all tourist sites andall sports and cinemas would also be shut;
• The country had already closed its borders with Egypt, Iraq, Syria and the occupied Palestinian territories andIsrael.

Vietnam – closing land border with Cambodia due to Coronavirus
• On Mar 18th, the Vietnam Government is temporarily closed the border with Cambodia due to Coronavirus;
• The affected border connects Moc Bai in Vietnam and Bavet in Cambodia, it is around 65km away from Ho ChiMinh city.

Indonesia – suspend visa-free and visa-on-arrival arrangements for one month to curb spread ofcoronavirus
• Indonesia will suspend its visa-free and visa-on-arrival arrangements for one month, starting Friday (March20), as part of its attempts to contain the coronavirus outbreak. All foreigners to apply for a visa at Indonesia'soverseas missions in accordance with the intention and purpose of the visits, and attach a health certificatefrom health authorities in their respective countries.

United Kingdom – financial measures to shore up the economy
• The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak has unveiled a package of £330bn of guaranteed loans availableto businesses affected by the crisis;
• Specifically this will include:
➢ A package of £330bn of loan guarantees to businesses
➢ Interest-free business interruption loans will be increased to £5m
➢ A 12-month business rates holiday for all shops, pubs, theatres, music venues and restaurants
➢ A cash grant of up to £25,000 for those businesses with a rate-able value of less than £51,000
➢ A three-month mortgage holiday for those in difficulty because of coronavirus.

Belgium – orders total coronavirus lockdown
• Interim Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès announced a number of measures to contain the further spread of thecoronavirus in Belgium. The measures will go into force from Wednesday (Mar 18th) at 12:00 noon, until 5April. People will only be allowed to leave their homes for food shopping, to go to the doctor, or to go to workif there's no possibility to work from home, all non-essential shops will be closed.

US
• Non-passenger vessels are allowed to operate in the US with restrictions if they have been to China orembarked passengers in China within the last 14 days under the condition that there are no sickcrewmembers. Any vessels with sick crewmembers are required to notify the nearest Coast Guard Captain ofthe Port.
Australia
• Any vessels that have left China or transited through the country after 01 February and less than 14 days priorto the date will be required to meet coronavirus requirements set by the government.
Vietnam
• All crews on those vessels not ever called Chinese ports, but have Chinese Nationality & signed on boardaround 14 days are also not allowed to go onshore when calling ports.
Singapore
• Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has implemented temperature screening at all seacheckpoints. Visitors having a travel history in Hubei or possessing PRC passports issued in Hubei, will not beallowed to enter or transit through Singapore.
India
• Mumbai : Port Health officers will give the cargo ships heath clearance. The vessels will be regarded infected ifa crew member or cruise passengers show any symptoms.

Europe – shuts out visitors to slow coronavirus
• European leaders agreed on Tuesday to close off their territory to almost all visitors, shutting the door to mosttravelers for at least 30 days as they struggled to arrest the rapid spread of the coronavirus on the continent;
• Exceptions will be made for European citizens and residents coming home, although some countries wereasking them to self-isolate for two weeks, in some cases away from their families. Britain said it was notplanning to participate in the measure;
• Among European Union countries, only Ireland would not be covered by the shutdown, because it has apassport-free travel agreement with Britain.

Indonesia
• Vessels that have visited China during their last 10 port stops will be thoroughly inspected by the Port HealthAuthority. Anyone suspected of being infected with the virus must be treated by authorities.
Turkey
• Cargo ships have been permitted to dock although they will undergo strict inspections.
Philippines
• The Philippine Ports Authority said workers in ships coming from China are prohibited from disembarking toprevent the spread of the virus.
South Korea
• Any vessel that visited China within the last 14 days will be inspected by officials from the Korea Centres forDisease Control and Prevention agency before entering. The vessels can only enter South Korean ports if theinspectors find no sign of infection and give them the all-clear.
Kenya
• There will be an increase of vessels’ docking time at the port, as Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) screen all crewmembers for the virus and inspect all vessels entering their ports.

• Completely reject cargo vessels from South Korea
Vietnam
• Country’s capital Hai Phong City - the entire vessel will be checked by staff from Hai Phong International Health QuarantineCenter, with all crew members to remain on board.
Russia
• Black Sea ports of Novorossiisk and Yuzhnaya Ozereyevka : mandatory disinfection of ships arriving from Iran, Italy andSouth Korea because of the coronavirus.
India
