    Mid November is here, along with busy,

    busy days.

    We are still looking for several volunteers

    for this Thursdays dance as well as for

    setting up and decorating the Ballroom

    from 4pm-6pm.

    Be sure to attend Dance the Night Away

    this Thursday night. Remember it is asmuch for the Honors students as it is

    sponsored by them.

    Also, this Friday Honors will be joining

    with ASMSUB to hang the Campus Leak

    in the buildings around campus.

    Polar Bare Plunge:Freezin for a Reason

    On Saturday, December 3rd,

    there is an opportunity to

    help with Special Olympics

    Polar Bare Plunge at Lake

    Elmo.

    Volunteers are needed

    beginning at 11am; however,

    if interested, you can comewhen you are available and

    leave when you need to.

    These volunteers will be helping to run the

    event, however there are other ways of

    supporting the event, which can be found at:

    Honors 290 Honors Internship (variable credit)are in the process of making arrangements f

    The Honors Club is co-sponsoring a Dance the Night Away dance on Thursday, November 17 th from 6pm to 11pm. The

    dance instructors and several of the students will be teaching/demonstrating swing dance steps 6pm to 7:30pm on the

    stages on the North side of the Ballroom. Volunteers are needed for the event:

    Volunteer Position Descriptions (Number of Volunteers Needed Per Hour Included):

    Admission (W): 2 volunteers needed. The location of this position will be the West entrance of the Ballroom (by the Atriu

    and Information Desk). This will be the main entrance for the event. Volunteers will take admission ($5 or $3 for those wit

    MSUB ID) a stamp will be used on entrants hands once they have paid so that they can come and go from the Ballroom

    throughout the night. This table will also be used for presales of dance videos ($5).

    Admission (S): 1 volunteer needed. The location of this position will be the South entrance of the Ballroom (closer to thecafeteria). This will be the secondary entrance for the event. Volunteers will check guests for stamps to ensure that guest

    had paid. No payments will be made at this entrance.

    Popcorn/ Refreshments: 1 volunteer needed. The location of this position will be in the Northwest corner of the Ballroom

    Volunteers will run the popcorn machine and distribute popcorn and refreshments.

    Babysitting Table: 1 volunteer needed. The location of this position will be outside of the Bridger Room (at the bottom of

    the staircase by the Stingers Caf). Volunteers will keep track of children being baby-sat. Children will be baby-sat in the

    Bridger Room.

    Babysitter: 2 volunteers needed (1 male & 1 female). The location of this position will be the Bridger Room (at the bottomof the staircase by the Stingers Caf). Volunteers will be babysitting games, books, and movies will be provided.
