Service with a Smile...Carimar Caring! In this issue, we’d like to emphasize and thank our hard-‐working staff. It is so rewarding to have our consistent hard work at Carimar be validated by many long-‐?mers. Why do our guests return year a/er year? Our spectacular beachfront loca?on aside, we con?nually get posi?ve feedback about the quality of service. Our staff believes in the “Carimar Cares” moEo which highlights our commitment to service excellence. Our staff is dedicated not just to our guests, but to Carimar itself. Most of our staff have been with us for years and several for more than 20 years. The staff is prepared to help with any of your needs. They will happily make dining reservations, reserve a car rental car, arrange airport transfers, hire a baby sitter or even arrange to have laundry done or groceries purchased. If you need something more unique, we can help plan your wedding, hire a photographer or just about anything you need! Just let us know how we can help!
Dear Friends,
Greetings from your Carimar team! This season our planned upgrades during closure included: *new sliding glass doors installed in all rooms*new PBX phone system and improved wi-8i*new shower curtains
A clean fresh look to all building exteriors was completed a few days before Hurricane Gonzalo passed over Anguilla on October 13.
Our team jumped into restoration and clean up mode and our property today shows little sign of the hurricane except for some minor landscaping damage. As with our beach, the miracles of nature came through and are still at work producing new growth and sand with each passing day. See the photo on page 2 taken on 10/23/2014.
Friends, everything you love about Carimar Beach Club is in place and we look forward to your return.
Sincerely,Fred ThompsonGeneral Manager

WHAT DO OUR GUESTS ENJOY AT CARIMAR?
The best thing is that you can find as much or little to do as you desire...a perfect vacation! Our 2 tennis courts have recently been resurfaced and a jog down Meads Bay and back is about 2 miles. Or just choose to relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!

Gonzalo Hits Anguillabut island recovers quickly
Hurricane Gonzalo passed directly over the island as a Category 1 storm on October 13, 2014. Many of the tourist spots, including Carimar, close annually in September and October for routine maintenance, upgrades and employee vacations so impact to guests at Carimar was not an issue. The beach always takes a beating from Mother Nature after these storms, but it is always amazing how quickly things return to normal within a matter of weeks! Fred sent photos taken 10 days after Gonzalo. The beach is almost back to normal and Carimar is completely ready to open on November 1.

RECENT TEN YEAR
AWARDEES HONORED Carimar’s preferred guest rewards are just that – rewards. Both the Carimar and Meads Bay Beach reviews are tops on Anguilla and this keeps our clientele returning year after year. The patronage and confidence of more than 75 families over the past 28 years is the highest form of praise and a hotelier’s dream come true. Recognition is given on our guests 10th stay by a plaque and a five complimentary night stay in a beach view accommodation to use on their next visit!
