Our team jumped into restoration and clean up mode and our property today shows little sign of the hurricane except for some minor landscaping damage. As with our beach, the miracles of nature came through and are still at work producing new growth and sand with each passing day. See the photo on page 2 taken on 10/23/2014. WHAT DO OUR GUESTS ENJOY AT CARIMAR?

The best thing is that you can find as much or little to do as you desire...a perfect vacation! Our 2 tennis courts have recently been resurfaced and a jog down Meads Bay and back is about 2 miles. Or just choose to relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!

Gonzalo Hits Anguillabut island recovers quickly

Hurricane Gonzalo passed directly over the island as a Category 1 storm on October 13, 2014. Many of the tourist spots, including Carimar, close annually in September and October for routine maintenance, upgrades and employee vacations so impact to guests at Carimar was not an issue. The beach always takes a beating from Mother Nature after these storms, but it is always amazing how quickly things return to normal within a matter of weeks! Fred sent photos taken 10 days after Gonzalo. The beach is almost back to normal and Carimar is completely ready to open on November 1.
