November is the start of many celebrations, holidays and reflections. Also it is the first anniversary of our newsletter. I want to take this moment to thank all of the participants for your continued support in our newsletter. Our goal is to continue to keep the community informed by bringing helpful information. Thanksgiving provides us with the opportunity to gather with family and friends, but also to reflect and to be grateful for all of our blessings. I wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving! - Jack Castro California’s Mandatory Organics Recycling Law Starting in 2016, businesses, including commercial and public entities like schools, stores, restaurants, industri- al businesses, for-profit and non-profit organizations, resi- dential dwellings with 5+ units, and others must recycle their organic waste based on the amount and the type of waste the business produces on a weekly basis, with full imple- mentation realized in 2019. This mandatory recycling law will go into effect on April, 2016. The Farmers Market came to an end for the 2016 season. I believe there was a great turn out to be the very fi rst time Huron had a Farmers Market. Thank you, all, for attending it! Mensaje del Departamento de Policía de HuronEstimados Residentes, Noviembre ha llegado y tambien el primer aniversario de nuestro Boletín. Nuestro Boletín fue creado por el ayuntamiento y nuestro administrador de la ciudad para mantenerle in-formado sobre acontecimientos actuales, y para brindarle información útil. El mes de noviembre también está lleno de muchos eventos y celebraciones: El 1 de noviembre es de Todos los Santos, el 6 cambia la hora (atrasen su reloj una hora), el 8 es día de las elecciones (espe-ro que voten), el 11 es el día de los veteranos miembros de nuestras fuerzas armadas, el 17 es el Día de No Fumar en America, que nos anima a ser más saludables, el 20 es el Día universal del Niño que reconoce el don de nuestros hijos como futuros líderes del mundo, y por último, igual de importante es el jueves 24 de de noviembre el Día de Acción de Gracias, el tiempo para dar gracias por nuestra pros-

Ley Obligatoria de Reciclaje de Residuos Orgánicos de CaliforniaA partir del 2016, las empre-sas, incluyendo las entidades comerciales y públicas, como escuelas, tiendas, restaurantes, empresas industriales, empre-sas con fi nes de lucro, organi-zaciones no lucrativas, viviendas residenciales con más de 5 unidades, y los demás deben reciclar sus residuos orgánicos una vez por semana basado en la cantidad y el tipo de residuos que la empresa produzca. Esto se implementará completamente en el 2019 . Esta ley de reciclaje obligatoria entró en vigor en abril del 2016. El mercado de los agricultores llegó a su fi n para la temporada del 2016. Creo que para ser la primera vez que Huron tiene un mercado Agricola tuvo una gran asistencia. ¡Gracias a todos, por asistir! Por favor, denme sus comentarios, para poder asegurar que la temporada 2017 sea incluso mejor que la de este año. Exhibición de Carros

Josue y María Trejo llevarón a cabo el primer evento anual de exhibición de carros el sábado 22 de octubre en el parque de la ciudad. Todas las ganancias son para el departamento de bomberos local y serán recibi-dos por una organización lcoal sin fi nes de lucro. Gracias a to-das las personas que asistierón y participarón en el evento. La familia Trejo hizo un trabajo increíble organizando todo para que este evento pudiera tener lugar.
