STUDENT LEADERSHIP FUNDRAISING

Well J.J., it’s that time of year again…Movember!!!

Prostate Cancer is the second-leading cause of

cancer deaths in Canadian men. It has no

known causes or prevention but detection and

treatment in its earliest stages provides the best

chance for a complete cure. With that, please

help raise money, and support our male teachers

growing mustaches, to raise money for pros-

tate cancer research!

Check out the posters around the school for

upcoming bake sales and wear tie days!

GRADE 9 Take Your Child To Work Day!!

November 2nd This is not a “day off” for grade 9’s. If they will be attending work with a parent for the day, it is the students responsibly to catch up on missed assignments as well as parents should be calling in to excuse them from classes for the day. If your child is not able to go to work, they are expected to be at school in class for the day.

LET US NOT FORGET

In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard among the guns below. We are the dead, short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe;

To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high.

If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields.
