Lost Sheep Ministry News – November 2016--

The Great Commission: Matthew 28: 18 - 20 is a commission for all Christians to go, make Disciples, and teach them to OBEY all that I have commanded you. LSM is dedicated to evangelizing the lost and making Disciples of Christ that make Disciples of Christ according to II Timothy 2:2.

Notes from Brother Bob: This newsletter is a bit different in that we are including reports from a couple of our sustaining ministries led by some of our Lost Sheep Ministry leaders. My most recent International venture was to the country of Latvia. It is much colder there than in Houston, TX.

I was privileged to escort my Pastor Steven Yoes' wife Maya to her native country. I shared with taxi drivers, and hotel staffers but

either they were already saved or refused to receive Christ. Finally, Linda Zalite a 23 year old staff receptionist prayed to

receive Christ and a bit later, Alexander Suskovs received Christ. Thank you Holy Spirit.

I attended St. Matthew Baptist church on Sunday and again last night. Folks it was an Acts 2:42 experience. In addition, they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ te

Maya and I are checked in for our flight to Amsterdam on air Baltic. We are numbers 1 & 2 on our United Airline

flight to Houston tomorrow. I really had a wonderful time here in Riga, Latvia. Thanks for your prayers.

We are looking forward to another fruitful year for Jesus during 2017. Pastor Bob

BACK TO NICARAGUAJon D. Friesen

God has gone before us and has prepared in and through people of his choosing unbelievable blessing to come.

I have accompanied Pastor Bob on missions to Nigeria, West Africa and Nicaragua, Central America. Last week I went back to Nicaragua to lay some groundwork and gather information about healthcare needs and God's direction for a Healthcare facility in San Marcos just south of Managua.

While in San Marcos, I had the privilege of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to the men and women of the Hodera (an addiction recovery center where Pastor Bob and I visited earlier this year,) We shared several movies. One of the movies was Pilgrim's Progress by john Bunyan , which is a classic story about a young man call Christian and his life's journey. After the movie, the Holy Spirit convicted 12 men to receive Christ's gift of salvation and one man rededicated his life.

During the week satanic influences tormented five women, four

felt the Spirit's conviction on their lives and accepted Christ. The fifth young lady messaged me as I was traveling back to the US and also prayed for Jesus to come into her heart through modern technology of texting.

During my mission God showed up over and over again. One of the challenges we faced was the availability of spiritual material, specifically Bibles. While in San Marco this need was met after a short conversation with God and

proclaiming Psalms chapter 70, which is a cry for help and urgency.I met with a man named Caesar from the local college. Caesar had a key that opened

a storage room containing one-half million Bibles in Spanish and English: Amen.I was honored to meet with the mayor of San Marcos. She took us on a tour of the

city and conveyed the current health care situation and challenges. They are in serious need of a hospital. The town has a small clinic with very little functioning medical necessities for 35, 000 people.

We were taken to a small area, approximately 1 acre, set aside for a hospital project but it was plain to see this was too small. I pointed my finger towards adjoined land and said that land would be perfect.

The next day as I was out for breakfast in a neighboring town, we met Jose who had been listening in to my conversation and inquired, "Where is this land you need?" He then said, "That's my land and it would be a great place for your hospital." Does any of this sound strange? Is God preparing his will ?

Also, I have been in communication with Mark George (fellow LSM member from Lockhart, Texas) about a 6,000 sq ft Mobile hospital, and I have just the place for it

Kamikaze for Christ Ministries has been very busy

By: Dana PooleSince I last wrote in the newsletter three of our Bible Studies have been published;

Fruit of the Spirit, Just As I Am -(Overcoming insecurity), and Walking in Rest.Through these Bible studies we have seen

women deepen their walk with the Lord and come to know and understand the Word of God in a more intimate and personal way. That is truly my heartbeat.

I had the privilege to speak at the women's fellowship at His Touch worship Center in Bacliff, TX in September. I gave my testimony about having MS and how God has proven Himself to be the ALMIGHTY in my life through my dealings with the disease.

It was a blessing to be able to pray and encourage other women dealing with physical issues. In October, I was invited to speak at the annual Friends Conference. There were women there from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Colorado. It was held at the Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston, TX. Carol Gibson (Pastor Bob's wife), Gloria Elliott, and Connie Miller accompanied me that weekend. We prayed and ministered to many women and saw God move in the hearts of those ladies. It was so humbling to see the delivering work of the Holy Spirit as we each loved on those who were hurting or simply in need. The theme was get out of the boat and that is exactly what we did that weekend. We left all things behind us and pressed on with our Lord into the purpose that He has for each of us. It was a beautiful weekend. Many of the Bible studies were

purchased and I am confident that the Word will continue to minister way beyond that weekend.

We continue to have two sessions a year; one in the fall and one in the spring. We just concluded our fall session and are in the planning stages for the spring. It looks like we will be having a daytime class. I have found out that there is a group of ladies in our community that are only available during the daytime hours and they are interested in one of the Bible studies.

We continue to have women attending from all the different churches in the Galveston Bay area. From what I am being told this is remarkable to have continued for so long with so many different women from so many different churches.

I am so blessed to be part of what God is doing. Please continue to pray for this ministry. I will be working on a devotional book during this New Year. I am also praying for more open doors to go, speak, and teach. Keep in mind that your support for Lost Sheep ministries is so much more than you realize and it is changing people's lives all over the world!

Blessings and Peace, Dana PooleRecommended Reading: The Spirit of the Disciplines by: Dallas Willard. Willard presents a way of living that enables ordinary men and women to enjoy the fruit of the Christian life. He reveals how the key to self-transformation resides in the practice of the spiritual disciplines, and how their practice affirms human life to the fullest. The Spirit of the Disciplines is for everyone who strives to be a disciple of Jesus in thought and action as well as intention.
