DPSN…the Place to Be!
The World is a Stage
It’s that time of the year when children
gear up to adorn different caps and
perform various roles suitable to their
mentality and interest. They get to play
the roles which will be cherished by them
for years to come.
During the annual function rehearsals it
is my observation which gives me an
insight into the different facets of a child’s
personality. How beautifully the transcend
into the chair of a director, writes script
with ease, paints the best strokes for the
props, exhibits technical talent through
the amazing e-invites. There is a make up
artist, costume designer and above all a
stage layout expert who knows what is to
be placed where on the stage. Oh! What a
humongous responsibility these little shoulders bear. Their commitment and sincerity is
worth learning from. We always undermine what children can achieve but as a Principal
I have immense faith, trust and confidence in my children. The evening rehearsals were
tiresome for many but the enthusiasm and the spirit displayed by the children was
enough to infuse energy in all of us to put together. The Annual Function of all the
classes provided opportunities to the children and yes they did cease the opportunity to
bring out their best. As a Principal I am grateful, and my heart swells with pride after
having witnessed such brilliant performances in terms of acting, dancing and oratory
skills.
Well done my children. May God bless you to take you to the field of your choice and
may you all excel in whatever you do.

I’m the Loneliest
I shout aloud
Inside my head, “Could you hear me?” It kills me from within, Knowing that no one there would be
In the end. My heart aks me,
How many times will I break? Hearing you’re fake. My eyes have no more tears left.
My mind is slowly bleeding in pain you gave me. I am wanting to run away To a land no one knows, and sit there in perfect silence.
Because, even though it’s a room full of people
I feel I’m still the loneliest.

Book Buzz
“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible
and wisest of counselors and the most patient of teachers.
Students need to inculcate the habit of reading. It gives them an access to
broaden their knowledge making them understand the depth of curriculum. It
also improves their communication skills. In addition to this reading is also a fun
and imaginative activity for which opens doors to a new world.
To encourage independent reading the students of class 7D had initiated a DEAR
TIME activity i.e – “Drop Everything and Read”. It was an activity where an
independent reading session commenced with the students and teachers reading
books of their choice for 20 minutes.

TULSI VIVAH CELEBRATION
Delhi Public School Nashik, with the team spirit of ‘Culture and Heritage Club’

great devotion and enthusiasm. The students of Grade 9 were shown an animated

of the wedding season in Hinduism. The Principal, Dr .Pushpy Dutt performed the
ritual of tying the nupital knot and shared her words on the rich culture and

Grade 9- Annual Function – “The Journey of Man”
UJAAS – GRADE 9 ANNUAL FUNCTION AT DPS
‘The Journey of Man’ an intriguing topic was staged by grade 9 students of Delhi
Public School Nashik as the theme of their Annual Function. The function was
graced by the presence of an eminent personality Dr. Sachin Sethi who was
felicitated with a token of love from DPS family for his invaluable presence.
Musical presentation by the school band incepted the programme. The skit
highlighted the stages of evolution: the discovery of fire, invention of wheel,
man’s aesthetic sense and the modern era. The climax wherein the gadget man
circumnavigates to the primitive stage was the crux which conveyed a powerful
message, ‘Let’s be men, not monkeys with tails up minding gadgets’. The
platform gave the students of grade 9 an opportunity to showcase their soft skills.
The guidance and support of the Principal, Dr. Pushpy Dutt made ‘The Journey
of Man’ not only entertaining but also educating. The willingness to enjoy
studentship at DPS Nashik by the chief guest, Dr. Sachin Sethi boosted the morale
of the students and also geared them up for further opportunities.

Dinosaurs) and endangered species was conducted for the students. Information about different types of fossils and the method of their natural formation was shared
with the students. Students observed the demonstration of volcanic eruption and also observed the variety of preserved species and replica of different species in the museum and recorded the information about the same. A small post card stamping
