ETNA 2012 survey Our thanks to all who recently participated in the 5th survey in the series of Enhanced Training Needs Analysis (ETNA). For over a decade, the ETNA survey has provided a timely snapshot of the changing use of technologies in Further Education throughout Scotland. The results of ETNA provide valuable strategic information to decision makers in tertiary education in Scotland as well as helping the JISC RSC Scotland align our services and support to accommodate your future training needs. The results of the ETNA survey will be published in a report which will be made available later this academic year.

Staff NewsShelaine Douglas joined the JISC RSC Scotland team in September as part-time Advisor: Curriculum support. Re:Source is managed and supported by the JISC Regional Support Centre Scotland, Scotland’s Colleges, SQA, and Education Scotland. It has been developed and hosted by Jorum, the UK body funded by JISC to facilitate the collection and sharing of OER in the UK. www.resourceshare.ac.uk

New Showcase Website from JISC RSC Scotland Have you seen our fabulous new Showcase website? We are in the process of creating a dedicated gallery, specifically designed to show off our amazing collection of webinars, videos and case studies demonstrating innovative practice and ingenuity in Scottish Further and Higher education. With such a huge gallery, it’s taking a bit of time to tag and make the collection fully searchable but we’re well under way! The gallery will continue to grow as we add the new case studies currently coming in for for the 2013 iTech Awards. Why not have a look at what is there so far? Be sure to bookmark the Showcase so that you don’t miss out as the collection grows!
