This monthly newsletter will keep you up-to-date on the fashion and trends that are inspiring me, and the current savings available to you this month at Fierce Salon and Spa.

HALF-PRICE HAIR COLOR THIS WEEK ONLY!For the first week of November, I will be offering my “Bring Your Friend” promotion. It’s like two for one hair! Bring in a friend that is new to Fierce and I will do color on both of you, and only one of you will have to pay.

Fierce Salon and Spa prides themselves on

providing great incentives for our guests to

spread the word about our stylists. One of the

ways I have been doing that, is by having the

Facebook Client Photo Contest every month.

All the contest involves, is simply posting a

picture of your fierce style to our Fierce Salon

fan page. At the end of the month, we draw

from the participants for a winner. That winner

receives services of equal value to their last visit.

The reason for doing this contest is to introduce

clients to our facebook page and get you guys

coming back. Many of our stylists post daily

specials on our page, and the only way to know

about them is to log in and check it out!

Another program Fierce has to help you

Before/After Holiday Sparkle One way to get a great new look for the holiday season is to come in for a no-commitment conditioning color glaze. I do these treatments for $52. They revive your color adding shine and softness and a hint of new, spicy color. The results last 6-12 weeks. At the Holiday Styling Party there will be a package for sale that has this service with a haircut, conditioning chemistry treatment and blow-out for $99.If you buy one for a new client, remember that when they use it you will also get a $20 referral so it ends up being $79. Totally doable for mom-in-law or BFF. Right?

Something else cool...Fierce Salon and Spa just hired a new associate. He will be working our Master’s Program for the next few months. He is VERY handy with a round brush and GREAT at scalp massage. I know you are all going to enjoy getting to know him.

The time away is to go on a trip of a lifetime with my dad, Ron, and my sister, Mandy. We are going to spend two weeks exploring Thailand. That’s me with my Dad and sister.

From Jack-O-Lanterns to Jolly Saint Nick in 0.6 Seconds...Walking through Macy’s looking for the perfect addition to my

Halloween costume, I was struck by the Christmas music already pulsing

through the overhead speakers. The scent of cinnamon permeated

the air. I paused for a brief second, thinking perhaps I had

fallen asleep for two months and it was not, in fact, mid

October. Then I realized what retailers around the nation

already know--Christmas is UPON US. Isn’t that what they

say? “Upon us,” like its this burden that we must carry?

As a stylist, and really as a person, I always look forward

to the holiday season because of the palpable energy that

begins to move through the cooling November air. I like helping my

guests pick out looks for holiday parties, and decide on the best shade of

red for lipsticks. I like going to the mall, grabbing a big starbucks and

wandering around watching people pick out gifts. However, as you may

have guessed, given that I’m spending Thanksgiving in Thailand,

my family doesn’t do the traditional Christmas . For us,

Christmas is more of a time to relax, kick-back, hang some

pretty lights, and do some wild people-watching.

Every family celebrates love in their own unique way,

but as the holiday season comes “UPON YOU,” I hope that

the new packages like “Mall Walker’s Retreat” and “Holiday

Sparkle” help to give you a break to relax, reflect, unwind, and

smell something besides cinnamon potpourri! I look forward to

seeing each one of you before the new year. Happy November!
