Happy Thanksgiving! Cindy Williams Hello Pilots, November..........It is a great time of the year. It reminds us to take time to count our blessings. After you think about family, friends and co-workers, think about the blessings you have received as a result of being a Pilot. There are experiences I've had as a member, officer and Lt. Governor that I wouldn't trade for anything. There are so many positive aspects to being a Pilot, such as the joy you received providing emotional & financial help to others through our many projects; the organizations you have learned about through our speakers - you never know when this information can help someone in the future; the generous people you've encountered through our fund-raisers; the friendships you have formed within our club, throughout the State, and beyond it's borders. Even on the bleakest of days, there is always something or someone to be thankful for. One thing more to consider, you probably are not aware of how many people are thankful for you. Gov. Happy Thanksgiving!

Cindy Williams

Hello Pilots,

November..........It is a great time of the year.  It reminds us to

take time to count our blessings.  After you think about family,

friends and co-workers, think about the blessings you have

received as a result of being a Pilot.  There are experiences I've

had as a member, officer and Lt. Governor that I wouldn't trade

for anything.  There are so many positive aspects to being a Pilot,

such as the joy you received providing emotional & financial help

to others through our many projects; the organizations you have

learned about through our speakers - you never know when this

information can help someone in the future; the generous people

you've encountered through our fund-raisers; the friendships you

have formed within our club, throughout the State, and beyond

it's borders.  Even on the bleakest of days, there is always

something or someone to be thankful for.  One thing more to

consider, you probably are not aware of how many people are

thankful for you.

Search under key words: Anchor & Pilot to find Clubs all over the World

The Anchors will be working this dinner, but Pilots are still needed for cooking in the kitchen and support in the dinging room. More information will be given at the Meeting, but please mark your

calendars to be available to help our Anchors with this event. All the proceeds will go the Anchor Clubs that participate to help with their FL District Anchor Convention Expenses in 2013.

All members planning to attedn the November Meeting need to bring your favorite "potluck" dish to share with everyone else. You may want to have the recipe ready for sharing as well. We hope to have all members present for this dinner & meeting

as we kick the Holiday Season off.....we have so much to be thankful for and our friendship is on the top of that list!

Some of the Gainesville Scholarship House Residents will be joining us at our January Meeting as the Guest Speaker to share with us and the Anchors about living in the Scholarship House. We will be

giving them the collected "household items" at that meeting to take back to Gainesville - so we need to make sure the box is FULL of supplies!!

Anchors will be asked to bring items to the

January meeting, but Pilots can bring items

each month!
