Ceruse rapidly ate away the skin, which meant that thicker layers had to be applied as time wore on. Despite its drawbacks, ceruse remained popular for at least 300 years! Born in Paris, France, Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born to Jacqueline and Chris on 15th April, 1990. Emma, her parents and her younger brother Alex moved back to England when Emma was five years old. This young trendsetter grew up in Oxfordshire, but now lives in London during her university holidays. Watson is currently in the U.S. pursuing a Liberal Arts degree at Brown University!

World-famous Emma Watson made her professional acting debut in the first Harry Potter film, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” winning a Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actress for her performance. Watson has also garnered two Critics’ Choice Award nominations from the Broadcast Film Critics Association for her work in “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” and “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.”
In addition, Watson won two consecutive AOL Awards for Best Supporting Actress, the first for “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” and another for “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.” The readers of Total Film magazine also voted her Best New Performer for her work in the latter. In 2006, Empire, the U.K.’s leading film magazine, honored Watson and her co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, with the Outstanding Contribution Award in recognition of their work, collectively, in the Harry Potter films.
Watson has starred as Hermione Granger, devoted friend to both Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, in each of the Harry Potter films. She plays the role for the final time in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2.” Watson was heard as the voice of Princess Pea in the 2008 animated adventure “The Tale of Despereaux.” She also starred opposite Victoria Wood, Richard Griffiths and Emilia Fox in the role of Pauline Fossil in the BBC’s television drama “Ballet Shoes.”
Apart from acting, another of Watson’s passions is fashion. She worked closely with Fair Trade and organic clothing producer People Tree in helping them create a new teenage fashion line, and fronted the Autumn-Winter 2009 and Summer-Spring 2010 campaigns for Burberry. She was the youngest actress to grace both covers of Teen Vogue (2005) and the UK’s Tatler magazine (2007) and has since appeared on covers and in magazines such as V, Italian Vogue and Elle!

Seven incredibly intense days of dodgeball action came to end on 16 October 2010 at Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam! A total of eight teams made it to the final knock out stage namely Barbarians (SEGi University College), Hyperblades (HELP University College), Red Legion (UCSI University), Devil Dukes (UCSI University), Storm (Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus), Tigers (City University College), Hyenas (Taylor’s University) and Maestro (Metropolitan College). All teams brought their A-Game, but in the end it was the Devil Dukes team from UCSI University who emerged as the champion! Congratulations to all the teams and kudos to SEGi University Barbarians (1st Runner Up) and Metropolitan College Maestro (2nd Runner Up). The most inspiring blogger award went to Adam Riff (Taylor’s University Lakeside Storm) and the perky Dodgettes from City UC Tigers bagged the first spot in their dodgettes category!

camp his dad asked him, “What did you do at summer camp today?” His son said, “I’m taking a
really cool magic class. I learned how to make a coin disappear and then make it re-appear from someone’s ear.”
“That is great!” said the dad. The next day the dad asked his son, “What did you learn in your magic class today?” The
son said, “We learned a card trick. I have you pick a card put it back into the deck, mix it up, and I can find the card.”
“Wow that sounds like fun.” says the dad. On the third day the dad asked his son, “What did you learn in
magic class today?”
The son said, “I couldn’t make it to class today.” “Why not?”, asked the father.
The son replied, “I had a gig...”
During a recent vacation in Las Vegas, a man went to see a popular magic show. After one especially amazing feat, a man from the back of the theater yelled, “How’d you do that?” “I could tell you, sir”, the magician answered, “But then I’d have to kill you.” After a short pause, the man yelled back, “Ok, then... just tell my wife!”
