Introduction

A novena is a Catholic tradition, which involves prayers that are repeated for nine

successive days to obtain special graces.

Novena prayers are dedicated to an angel, saint, the Blessed Virgin Mary, or a member

of the Holy Trinity.

The tradition of novenas did not come from the Bible, but from the customs of the

ancient Greeks, Romans, and Germans.

Following death, they held nine days of reflection and prayer followed by a large feast.

In the Middle Ages, Catholics prayed novenas to the saints and request miracles.

After the Reformation, Protestants claimed these traditions were “pagan” and

“superstitious”.

However, Catholics continued to pray them and believed novenas were the best way to

obtain graces through the intercession of Our Lady and the saints.

We believe that God hears novenas and appreciates the confidence and perseverance

we demonstrate when we pray these prayers for nine successive days.

Novenas promote the veneration of Our Lady and the saints, active faith in God, and

the spirit of prayer in the Catholic Church.

Therefore, Jett and Jahn Media has created the “Novena to Saint Adolf Hitler”.

Saint Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889 in Braunau am Inn (a bordertown between

Austria & Germany). He was baptized Catholic and had a very close relationship with

his devout mother, Klara. As a teen, Saint Hitler made his confirmation and remained

Catholic until his “death” on April 30th, 1945.

For the nine days between Saint Adolf Hitler’s birth (April 20th) and “death” (April

30th), we will pray a novena to request his assistance and guidance.

Below are the four prayers we will say each day for the next nine days:

The Prayer To Saint Michael

“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;

be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou,

O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God,

thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits

who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.”

From 1897-1899, Saint Hitler Attended Lambach Abbey, a Catholic monastery in

Lambach, Austria and was taught by Benedictine Catholic Monks

The Lambach Abbey coat of arms has a swastika and the symbol decorates the carved

stones and woodwork of the building. Swastikas also adorn the chapel Hitler attended

for Mass and choir practice.

Therefore, this Catholic Abbey is where young Hitler saw a swastika for the first time in

his life.

Life In Vienna

“For many people the name of Vienna signifies innocent jollity, a festive place for happy

mortals. For me, alas, it is a living memory of the saddest period in my life. Even to-day

the mention of that city arouses only gloomy thoughts in my mind.”

From 1905-1913, Saint Hitler lived in Vienna, Austria, selling his water colour paintings.

He applied to study at The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna twice but was rejected due to

”unfitness for painting”.

In 1907, he learned that Klara, his beloved mother had died.

In 1909, Saint Hitler wandered into the Kunsthistoriches Museum and entered room 11,

where he saw the Holy Lance and the Crown Jewels of the Holy Roman Empire for this

first time.

The Holy Lance was the sword that had pierced Christ’s side during the crucifixion.

The Crown Jewels were the imperial crown, the orb, the scepter, and two swords of the

Holy Roman Emperors.



These sacred relics were the cherished symbols, representing the medieval concept of

Catholic government.

In Mein Kampf, he later wrote:

“During those years a view of life and a definite outlook on the world took shape in my

mind. These became the granite basis of my conduct at that time. Since then I have

extended that foundation only very little, and I have changed nothing in it.”

World War I

From 1914-1918, Saint Adolf Hitler served Germany during World War I in the

Bavarian Army. He served as a dispatch runner on the Western Front, often behind

enemy lines in France and Belgium.

He was wounded at the Battle of the Somme and awarded the Iron Cross, First Class for

his bravery.



In Mein Kampf, he wrote:

“Towards morning I also began to feel pain. It increased with every quarter of an hour;

and about seven o’clock my eyes were scorching as I staggered back and delivered the

last dispatch I was destined to carry in this war. A few hours later my eyes were like

glowing coals and all was darkness around me.”

Day Four

Beer Hall Politics

“The longer I reflected on the problem, the more my opinion developed that just such a

small movement would best serve as an instrument to prepare the way for the national

resurgence, but that this could never be done by the political parties which were too

firmly attached to obsolete ideas or had an interest in supporting the new regime. What

had to be proclaimed here was a new approach and not a new election cry.”

On September 12th of 1919, Saint Adolf Hitler became the 55th member of the German

Workers’ Party (German: Deutsche Arbeiterpartei).

The next year, the party changed its name to the National Socialist German Workers

Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei). Saint Hitler designed the party

banner, which featured a black swastika in a white circle on a red flag.

On February 4th, 1920, the group held its first meeting in the Hofbräuhaus in Munich.



In Mein Kampf, he wrote:

“I need not say that we anxiously asked ourselves on each occasion again and again:

Will the people come and will they listen? Personally I was firmly convinced that if

once they came they would remain and listen. During that period, the hall of the

Hofbräuhaus in Munich acquired for us, National Socialists, a sort of mystic

significance. Every week there was a meeting, almost always in that hall, and each time

the hall was better filled than on the former occasion, and our public more attentive.”

The Failed Putsch

“National officials” refused to allow the dead heroes a common burial. So I dedicate the

martyrs may be a permanent source of light for the followers of our Movement.”

On September 26th of 1923, Bavarian Prime Minister Eugen von Knilling declared a

state of emergency and appointed Gustav von Kahr as state commissioner with

dictatorial governing powers.

Germany was filled with political conflict and chaos. Hitler decided this was a critical

opportunity to gain supporters and take control.

On November 8th, the National Socialist German Workers Party decided to march on

the Bürgerbräukeller, a beer hall in Munich where Gustav von Kahr was making a

speech to 3,000 people.

A group led by Hitler entered the beer hall, while 600 SA officers surrounded the

building. Unable to be heard above the large crowd, Hitler fired a shot into the ceiling,

jumped on a chair, and yelled:



“The national revolution has broken out! The hall is filled with six hundred men.

Nobody is allowed to leave.”

To end the speech, he added:

“You can see that what motivates us is neither self-conceit or self-interest, but only a

burning desire to join the battle in this grave eleventh hour for our German Fatherland

… One last thing I can tell you. Either the German revolution begins tonight or we will

all be dead by dawn!”

Amazingly, he had won the crowd over and they roared in approval.

Although the Putsch ultimately failed, the event did give Hitler his first exposure to

national attention and a propaganda victory.

Hitler used his trial as an opportunity to spread his ideas. Every word he spoke was

reported in the newspaper the next day. He also used his time in prison to write Mein

Kampf.




Ultimately, the putsch changed Hitler’s outlook on violent revolution.From then on, he

realized that he must follow the rules in order to gain public support. Later, he would

be called Hitler Legalité (Hitler the Legal One).

Day Six

Reich Chancellor

“Now, people of Germany, give us four years and then pass judgment upon us. In

accordance with Field Marshal von Hindenburg’s command we shall begin now. May

God Almighty give our work His blessing, strengthen our purpose, and endow us with

wisdom and the trust of our people, for we are fighting not for ourselves but for

Germany.”

On December 20th of 1924, Saint Adolf Hitler was released from jail.

However, the German economy had improved and people were less receptive to his

message.

In the 1928 elections, the National Socialist German Workers Party received 2.6% of

votes.

On October 24th of 1929, the stock market crashed and Germans began to consider

National Socialism.

In the following 1930 elections, the National Socialist German Workers Party received

18.3% of votes.

Two years later, Hitler ran in the German presidential election and received 35% of

votes.



Shortly after, Paul von Hindenburg was convinced to appoint Hitler as Chancellor of

Germany.

On January 30 of 1933, Hitler was inaugurated as Reich Chancellor. In his speech, he

explained:

“All about us the warning signs of this collapse are apparent. Communism with its

method of madness is making a powerful and insidious attack upon our dismayed and

shattered nation. It seeks to poison and disrupt in order to hurl us into an epoch of

chaos…. This negative, destroying spirit spared nothing of all that is highest and most

valuable. Beginning with the family, it has undermined the very foundations of

morality and faith and scoffs at culture and business, nation and Fatherland, justice and

honor.”

Nuremberg Rallies

“The party will for all time come to represent the elite of the political leadership of the

German people. It will be unchangable in its doctrine, hard as steel in its organiziation

tactics, supple and adeptable; in its entity however, it will be like a Holy Order!”

From September 5th to September 10th of 1934, the National Socialist German Workers

Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei) gathered for the Nurembery

Rallies.

Nurnberg was chosen because it was the capital of the Holy Roman Empire.

Back in 1424, Emperor Sigismund had presented the Holy Lance and the Crown Jewels

to the city and declared by royal decree they would remain there forever.

Hitler planned to resurrect Nurnberg as the imperial city of the German Reich. In

speeches, he explained Germany’s brain was Berlin, its heart was Munich, and its soul

was Nurnberg.



Young children welcomed Hitler’s motorcade to the city with bundles of flowers.

German director Leni Riefenstahl filmed the 1934 Nuremberg Rally and created the

documentary “Triumph of the Will”.

As Hitler gave the final speech to a crowd of 700,000 Germans, he declared:“At this

hour, tens of thousands of party members are already leaving the city, while some of

them are still reveling in their memories, others are already beginning to prepare for the

next review – again and again people will come and go, they will be moved anew, be

pleased and equally inspired, because the Idea of the Movement is a living expression

of our people, and therefore a symbol of eternity. Long live the National Socialist

Movement! Long live Germany! ”

Day Eight

The Crown Jewels

“In no other German city is there as strong a connection between the past and present…

as in Nuremberg, the old and the new imperial city. This city, which the old German

Reich deemed fit to defend the regalia behind its walls, has regained ownership of these

symbols which testifies to the power and strength of the old Reich… and is a

manifestation of German power and greatness in the New German Reich… The

German people have declared themselves the bearers of the thousand-year crown.”

Back in 1424, Holy Roman Emperor Sigismund had placed the Holy Lance and Crown

Jewels in Nuremberg where, by royal decree, they were to remain for the rest of

eternity. However, they were removed in 1796 and later sent to Austria, to keep them

from falling into the hands of Napoleon.

But Saint Adolf Hitler made it his duty to bring these holy Catholic relics back to their

traditional home.

On September 6, 1936, Adolf Hitler entered St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in

Nuremberg. The Fuhrer had arrived for the opening ceremony celebrating the return of

the Holy Lance and the Holy Roman Empire’s Crown Jewels to Germany.



A large red carpet stretched from the church’s entrance down the aisle. Red and black

drapes were hung from the ceiling to the floor, and windows blocked to increase the

power of the spotlights glowing on the display cases. They were filled with the crown,

orb, scepter, lance, and swords, placed on an ancient medieval stone box in the

chapel.SS guards dressed in formal black uniforms stood at attention in the aisles. Two

trumpeters stood on the balcony, dressed in colorful medieval costumes.

On the first day of this opening celebration, two hundred thousand people saw the

Holy Lance and Crown Jewels. In the coming months, millions more flocked to these

treasures.

These Crown Jewels had been passed on from one ruler to the next without interruption

for nearly a thousand years, and worshipped as holy relics by Catholics throughout

Europe.

Day Nine

The Jewish Question

“As for the Jews, I am just carrying on with the same policy which the Catholic Church

has adopted for fifteen hundred years, when it has regarded the Jews as dangerous and

pushed them into ghettos. I don’t put race above religion, but I do see the dangers in the

representatives of this race for Church and State, and perhaps I am doing Christianity a

great service.”

In 1215, the Catholic Church created the badges for Jews during the Fourth Lateran

Council.

Pope Innocent III declared that “Jews and Muslims of both sexes in every Christian

province and at all times shall be marked off in the eyes of the public from other

peoples through the character of their dress.”

Later in 1555, the Catholic Church invented Jewish Ghettos and forced them to live

there.

Pope Paul IV wrote “Cum Nimis Absurdum”, which created the Roman Ghetto. The

area was surrounded by four walls with three gates that were locked at night. These

walls and gates were built by Italian architect Giovanni Sallustio Peruzzi.



The location he chose was very dirty and often flooded by the Tiber River. Jews had to

request permission to live there and had to pay a yearly tax to stay.

Eventually, the Catholic Church lost power and new governments closed Jewish

ghettos. Usury and banking quickly spread throughout Europe.

Jewish bankers like Mayer Amschel Rothschild, Moses Marcus Warburg, Jacob Schiff,

and Salomon Oppenheim Jr. got extremely wealthy without producing any value or

doing any real work.

The National Socialist German Workers Party believed EVERYONE should work, so

they created forced labor camps.(America did the EXACT SAME THING with 11,000

German Americans and 110,000 Japanese Americans)During the war, Hitler actually

allowed the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to examine these camps.

The ICRC won the Nobel Peace prize in 1944 and is a renowned humanitarian

organization. They inspected the facilities and published a 1,600 page report after the

end of the war. In the ICRC report, there is no mention of any gas chambers or

genocide.

The ICRC report also claims that most deaths occurred when food supplies were cut off

following the Allies invasion near the end of the war.

They ICRC estimates 300,000 people died in the camps, far less than the popular

estimate over six million.

Martyr Of The Modern World

Saint Adolf Hitler fought to unite Germany in much of the same way King

Charlemagne did to create the Holy Roman Empire.

Germans NEVER called themselves Nazis, that name was actually created by Jews

(“Ashkenazi” is the Hebrew word for Germany).Saint Adolf Hitler proudly proclaimed

his government was the Third Reich (Empire), which paid respect to the First Reich, the

Holy Roman Empire founded by King Charlemagne.

Both Hitler and Charlemagne were Catholics who fought wars to expand their state.

Both rulers established economic policies that promoted real human labor and

prevented the financial exploitation of the German people.

In 814, King Charlemagne created the Capitulary for the Jews, which outlawed Jewish

usury and money lending. The first law threatened to cut off the right hand of any Jew

who loaned money and collected debt from the Church or Catholics. The second law

erased any debt that existed between Jews and Catholics. The third law prohibited Jews

to sell wine, grain, or other commodities at their home and threatened confiscation and

imprisonment for any violations of this rule.




King Charlemagne also fought brutal wars to convert the Saxon tribe and once executed

a group of 4,500 soldiers who had peacefully surrendered. He was triumphant though

and his historical reputation was formed by his supporters. He was eventually named a

saint by the Catholic Church following his death.

By contrast, Hitler was defeated and his enemies have carefully developed and spread

his legacy… the Holocaust…As Winston Churchill once famously declared, “history is

written by the victors.”
