Outstanding QualityIn 2015, with close to 374,000 total citations in the Applied Physics category*, Applied Physics Letters and Journal of Applied Physics once again retained their positions as first and second, respectively. They accounted for just under one quarter of total citations in this category* comprised of 145 journals.

Also in 2015, The Journal of Chemical Physics continued to lead the Atomic, Molecular & Chemical Physics category* with almost 200,000 citations. In fact, just under a third of all citations from the 35 journals in this category are attributed to this prestigious AIP Publishing journal. The Journal of Chemical Physics is also the most highly cited journal in the Physical Chemistry category,* which covered 144 journals in 2015.

Accelerating ScienceAcross all AIP Publishing journals, time to publication has improved 11% (2012-2015).
