Children’s Department:

"The youth services department is so

helpful and fun. The programs are

very educational and the crafts are

awesome." Amelia

"Miss Andrea rocks at story time!!"

"It allows me to keep up to date on current lit-

erature and technology. I don't know what I'd do

without it [the library]!"

"When I was a boy, my older sister read all the

time. I almost read nothing. Now I can't imagine

not reading. Libraries are essential in my opin-

ion. Not everybody can afford to buy books. It

is the caring community's responsibility to make

sure everyone has knowledge available to

them." J.O.

"I love talking to my favorite librarian, Barb! She

always makes my day better! The Hamlet Library

has such a positive atmosphere. I love that when-

ever I have school work to do, I know the Hamlet

library will be there for me!" Ali Quinn

"I love to read. Also I find the Librarian [Barb

Pilger] to be friendly and informative. And to top it

off its only a few blocks from where I live! I love

this library and have since I was a child!" Nancy

Earnest

"I love reading. I can come here and look on the

shelves and always find something to read. The

library person, Lisa, is always helpful when I

need it. It's a good place to find out if anything

is going on in town."

"We can read children's books and check out

current and older titled DVD's. It is also so

close to our home and the staff are really help-

ful and eager to take care of the patrons. We

love it. :)"
